The FIT Academy has been designed by a team of health and fitness professionals including Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Personal Trainers and Sporting Coaches. The FIT Academy will enhance the performance of aspiring athletes and provide them with a conducive environment to develop and enhance their athletic performance and skill sets. Every session has been scientifically designed to
achieve specific outcomes and real measurable improvements in balance and co-ordination, strength and power, speed and agility. FIT Academy sessions will also include a diverse range of activities that will enhance the skills of members and enable them to excel in their respective sport. The FIT Academy will educate participants on the importance of discipline, respect, communication and dedication, characteristics that will not just prepare them to excel in their chosen sport but also develop as a person. In addition, the FIT Academy will focus on areas such as goal setting and the importance of healthy eating, hydration and injury prevention. To ensure academy members are progressing and developing performance testing will occur on a regular basis, this will provide objective performance measures across a range of parameters and provide important information to monitor improvements and areas for development. All FIT Academy members will also have a biomechanical movement screen completed by one of our qualified coaches to evaluate individual movement patterns and individual corrective exercises to complete. The aim of the FIT Academy is to enhance the physical performance elements and skills that are specific to sporting success while providing a supportive and positive team environment for members to grow and develop.
