Congratulations Liv and Sterling! 🩷

A huge congratulations to Olivia (Liv) Godber and Winterfell Bourne Supremacy “Sterling” on their fantastic results at the IMHR Grand National Show, taking out the title of Most Versatile Gelding.

This award is a true reflection of the time, dedication and hard work Liv puts into Sterling every single day. She does all of his training herself, puts in the hours behind the scenes and always gives 100% no matter the outcome.

Liv is one of the most hardworking and determined young horsewomen we know. She approaches every challenge with enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a genuine love for her horse. Success like this doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from consistency, commitment and the special partnership she has built with Sterling.

We think the world of Liv and could not be prouder of what she has achieved. She is an exciting young trainer with a bright future ahead of her and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for this wonderful team.

Winterfell F King Fabulous - Estelle 🖤 what a story this is and one of our favourite ever memories from a National show!

Estelle had 4 weeks to go from fat paddock mare to show horse, and with almost being 5 it was a huge task as she’d never left the farm ever let alone to debut as a show horse at IMHR National show 🖤

With zero expectations other than she just behave she blew us all away winning 2 National Champions, 2 National Grand Champions and then National Supreme Small Horse Stock Type 🖤

We wish her new owner Skye all the best with Estelle and know she will produce her some beautiful babies 🖤

Winterfell AFS Spirit - Spirit, so proud of this little c**t, after winning 2 Supremes at AMHS Vic feature shows he then came along to IMHR National Show, winning 3 National Champions and 1 Reserve Grand Champion for his new owner Skye 🤎 and then after his big trip home to WA he has gone on to win a Supreme Miniature over there 🤎

Many thanks to Skye and her mum Gail for being the best ever stable buddies and for all their help with our team. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed your first ever National Show 🤎

Beautiful little Bailey, Winterfell Hashtag Keep The Faith, owned by Donna Tumo.

Sadly Donna couldn’t make it to IMHR Nationals and after all the hard work she had done with Bailey we wanted to help her out and take him to Nationals 🩶

The beautiful Winterfell Juliette Has A Gun 🤎 Juliette has matured into such a stunning little filly, super small, amazing movement and very refined with the most beautiful head.

Juliette competed at the AMHS Victorian State Show and National Show winning State Supreme AO Miniature Horse, 4 National Champions, 2 National Grand Champions and one National Reserve Grand 🤎

Juliette headed to her new home last week and we wish her new owner all the best for their future together 🤎

Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the ribbons, trophies and Supreme titles, but horses have a way of reminding us what really matters.

Last year Alby, Winterfell AFS Fahrenheit, stood at the very top as National Supreme. This year he returned to the National stage and while he didn’t take home a major Supreme title, he still achieved an incredible result with 5 National Champion titles and 3 Reserve Grand Champion awards.

Are we disappointed he didn’t win the big one? Of course. We all enter the ring hoping for that moment. But showing horses is subjective. Breeding horses is selective. Every judge has different preferences and every competition has a different outcome. That’s the nature of our industry and it’s what keeps us all striving to breed and present better horses each year.

One judge’s Supreme winner may not be the next judge’s choice and that’s perfectly okay. Good sportsmanship means celebrating the wins, accepting the losses and respecting the opinions of those entrusted to judge the classes.

Alby owes us nothing. He has exceeded every expectation we ever had for him and continues to make us proud every time he walks into the ring. His results this year are a reminder that success isn’t measured solely by the biggest trophy. Consistency, quality and the ability to compete at the highest level year after year are achievements in themselves.

At the end of the day, horses don’t know whether they won Supreme or came second. They simply trust us to care for them, believe in them and appreciate them for what they are.

And for us, Alby will always be a champion. We love how he is maturing, small and refined. And we are glad he will be staying with us for a little longer 🖤

I’m sure Amelia is going to need to find a sponsor who will supply her with endless amounts of purple shampoo to keep the perlino sparking clean 🤣 Enid did very well at the AMHS Victorian State Show winning State Grand Champion Small Horse Filly and State Supreme AO Small horse with her owner Amelia on the lead. Amelia was super proud as she’d put a lot of time into taming Enid and scrubbing her 🤣
Enid also competed at AMHS Nationals in Sydney winning 4 National Champions, National Grand Champion Small Horse weanling Filly and National Reserve Grand Champion Small Horse Trot which is a huge achievement for a weanling 🏆 we look forward to watching Enid grow and she will certainly make a stunning future broodmare at Winterfell 🤍

Our beautiful imported stallion Chip - Kings Lane Chippendale made his return to the show ring this year as a veteran after not being shown for 8 years!!
So proud of little Chip who is still a pro in the show ring 🏆 at the AMHS Victorian State Show Chip won State Supreme Senior Miniature Horse and State Supreme AMHA Horse 🧡
Chip is such a big moving little Horse, sired by world Champion Driving Horse Ravenwood Pokerchip and we look forward to welcoming some Chip foals here this year at Winterfell 🧡
