MCC offers our condolences to the family of Margaret Robertson who passed away on Sunday.

Margaret (or Granny as she's affectionately known by many) is the wife of Arthur, father of Wesley and grandmother of Todd, who are all life members of the club.

Her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren have represented the club across many years, sides, and formats.

Vale Margaret, and hopefully your legacy remains within the MCC for many generations to come.

Big smiles at Mortlake’s DC Farren Oval this morning!

Congratulations to the Mortlake Recreation Reserve Committee and Moyne Shire Council for their hard work and persistence in securing $500,000 from the Allan Labor Government’s LSIF to deliver much-needed new women’s and girls’ change facilities.

It’s fantastic to see women and girls supported to participate in sport safely and confidently in our communities.

Amazing news coming out today that the DC will get new women’s sports facilities that will benefit netballers, cricketers, footballers, tennis players and our whole community! And in more exciting news…the facility will be named after our very own Georgia Wareham 🤩 A huge congratulations and thankyou goes to the Rec Reserve committee for working tirelessly on the upgrade masterplan. 👏🏼

It brings the total spent to more than $3 million.
