Rogerson College of Classical and Contemporary Dance Unique fill & part time program with a strong focus on classical ballet and contemporary dance for dedicated, gifted young dancers.

Rogerson Elite Classical Training is a boutique elite training program that has evolved over the past 8 years to ensure we tailor our training to our student's individual needs. We offer both part time and full time options to students in both our junior and senior program whilst having a strong emphasis on academics. We strive to work closely with each family to ensure that these expectations are met and delivered in a way that each child can benefit from a balance of training and academic commitments. Our staff consists of a group of talented and creative professionals, who are passionate about ensuring that the children's best interests are their top priority and strive to nurture them so that they achieve their goals. We are one of Sydney's leading Ballet Schools, and have been a family business involved in the dance industry for over 45 years. Our programs stem off from our after hours studio Rogerson Dance Studios.

An incredible day of learning ✨

We were incredibly fortunate to welcome Natalia Bashkatova to our studios following YGP Sydney for a very special day of training and coaching.

There was so much to take away from the experience — thoughtful corrections, incredible knowledge and another wonderful opportunity for our dancers to continue learning following such a big week at YGP Sydney.

Thank you, Natalia, for so generously sharing your knowledge and experience with our dancers. We are incredibly grateful for the time you spent working with them and for the invaluable coaching they received.

And a special thank you to Youth America Grand Prix for making this opportunity possible. The opportunities provided to young dancers through coaching, training, performance and scholarships are always greatly appreciated.

5 DAYS. ONE EXTRAORDINARY OPPORTUNITY. ✨

This October, Sydney dancers have the opportunity to spend five days training with Lynne Charles — Creator of 4Pointe and Artistic Director of English National Ballet School.

This is more than a single masterclass. Across five consecutive days, dancers have the opportunity to work closely with Lynne, receive corrections, build on them from day to day and experience her approach to classical technique, pointe work and artistry.

The International Spring Intensive will include:

✨ Contemporary Training
✨ Creative Development

Alongside Lynne, dancers will also work with internationally acclaimed dancer and coach Juliet Doherty and contemporary artist and choreographer Liam Blair, creating an exceptional five days of training.

Day 7 | YAGP Sydney — That’s a Wrap ✨

And just like that, an incredible week at YAGP Sydney comes to an end!

Our final day wrapped up with Mia, Annabelle, and Rylan in the Contemporary Master Class, followed by a very special Awards Ceremony.

We are so proud to share our amazing results:

Beyond the awards, this week was about growth. Over seven days, our dancers performed, took master classes, supported one another, and built lasting friendships. We are incredibly proud of every single dancer who represented Rogerson College and our interstate coaching program. Your camaraderie on and off the stage was truly inspiring.

A massive thank you to our hardworking preparation team, the studio staff keeping things running back home, and the Grand Prix Elite Experience for their invaluable pre-competition coaching.Finally, thank you to Youth America Grand Prix for an inspiring week of opportunities. Congratulations to the entire team—you represented our studio beautifully.

Day 6 | YAGP 2027 Season – Sydney ✨

What a day. Day 6 brought together so many special moments for our dancers at YAGP Sydney.

Annabelle and Rylan began the day taking part in the YAGP Callback Class, and we were incredibly proud of the way they represented themselves and Rogerson College.

Mia, Zoe, Sabine, Myah and Aaliyah all continued to make the most of the YAGP experience through their classes, while Annabelle, Zoe and Mia took to the stage with magnificent contemporary performances. We were so proud of each of you and the individuality and artistry you brought to the stage.

And then came our ensembles…
Our dancers opened the show with Mojo, bringing so much energy to the stage and setting the tone for what was a very special performance.

This was followed by exquisite performances of Sequence and Le Corsaire — beautiful teamwork, commitment and artistry from everyone involved.
And to finish the show with Annabelle and Rylan performing their Pas de Deux, culminating in a fantastic coda, was an incredibly proud moment for all of us.

Watching our dancers take to the YAGP stage together, support one another and represent Rogerson College with such professionalism has been very special.

What a wonderful Day 5 at YAGP Sydney, with beautiful performances on stage and some very special opportunities for our dancers.

Annabelle, Mia, Zoe and Rylan all took to the YAGP stage with their classical variations and performed beautifully, as well as taking part in their Judged Classes. We are incredibly proud of each of you, the work you have put into preparing and the way you represented Rogerson College throughout the day.

It was also an exciting day for Charlotte, Montana and our interstate coaching student Georgiana, who were invited to take part in the YAGP Callback Classes. Such a wonderful achievement and another opportunity to learn, be seen and make the most of everything YAGP has to offer.

We are so proud of all of our dancers. Everyone performed beautifully and approached their classes with commitment and professionalism, while continuing to support and encourage one another throughout the week.

AN EXTRAORDINARY OPPORTUNITY FOR SYDNEY DANCERS ✨

This October, we are incredibly privileged to welcome Lynne Charles — Creator of 4Pointe and Artistic Director of English National Ballet School — to Rogerson College for five days of intensive training.

Lynne brings an extraordinary international career spanning more than three decades as a ballerina, teacher, choreographer and director. Having worked with some of the world’s most celebrated choreographers and companies, she brings a wealth of knowledge, artistry and experience into the studio.

During our International Spring Intensive, dancers will have the opportunity to work closely with Lynne in Ballet Technique, Pointe, 4Pointe and Classical Repertoire, alongside an exceptional week of training with Juliet Doherty and Liam Blair.
This is more than simply taking a masterclass — it is five days to learn, be challenged, receive corrections and experience the approach of one of the international ballet world’s highly respected teachers and directors.

Day 4 | YAGP 2027 Season – Sydney ✨

Another full day at YAGP Sydney, with so many of our dancers making the most of the incredible master classes and performance opportunities throughout the day.

Our Juniors Montana, Sabine, Myah and Aaliyah all took part in master classes today, while Mia, Zoe, Annabelle and Rylan joined the Senior master classes — another wonderful opportunity to learn, be challenged and experience everything that YAGP has to offer.

It was also another exciting day on stage.

Montana performed both her classical variation and contemporary solo beautifully, while Aaliyah took to the stage with her contemporary solos and gave performances we were incredibly proud of.

We have loved watching all of our dancers embrace this week — whether they are on stage, in class, supporting their teammates or simply taking in everything happening around them.
Another day of learning, performing and growing.

Day 3 | YAGP 2027 Season – Sydney ✨

Another big day at YAGP Sydney and another day of beautiful performances, wonderful classes and so much to be proud of.

Aaliyah took to the stage with her classical variations today and danced beautifully, as well as taking part in her Classical Ballet master class.

Zoe gave a beautiful performance of her contemporary solo, as well as taking part in her Classical Ballet master class.

Sabine and Myah both had a big day, performing their classical variations and contemporary solos, as well as taking part in their Classical Ballet master class. You both did such a wonderful job and we were so proud watching you take to the YAGP stage.

Montana made the most of both Ballet and Contemporary master classes, Rylan had a great Ballet master class, and Charlotte continued her YAGP week with another wonderful Ballet master class.

Our interstate coaching student Gigi also had a great day, taking part in both Contemporary and Ballet master classes and making the most of every opportunity.
So proud of all of our dancers today — beautiful performances on stage, wonderful work in the studio and, most importantly, such lovely support for one another throughout the week.
You are all representing yourselves and Rogerson College beautifully.
