⚠️ TRAINING CANCELLED — ALL JUNIOR, MINIROOS & COMMUNITY TEAMS ⚠️

Due to inclement weather and current pitch conditions at Wilfred Taylor Reserve, all Junior, MiniRoos and community teams training sessions are cancelled this week.

The safety of our players and the protection of our playing surface are always our top priority.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone back out on the pitch soon!

TOMORROW THE SOCCEROOS BEGIN THEIR 2026 WORLD CUP JOURNEY AND WE ARE WATCHING IT TOGETHER!

1:30PM Australia kicks off their FIFA World Cup campaign against Türkiye and Wilfred Taylor Reserve " The Pound " is the ONLY place to be!

We're calling on every current and past player, supporter, family member, sponsor and friend to pack the clubrooms and make some noise

Drink specials are flowing and the atmosphere is going to be absolutely electric!

There is only ONE dress code this Sunday and that is GOLD.

And hey — we're also opening early at 10:30AM for our Scottish friends to watch Scotland vs Haiti, so if you know a Scot send them our way!

Come for the tartan, stay for the gold — it's going to be one enormous day at the Pound and you do NOT want to miss a single minute of it!

Weekly Friday sessions for kids aged 3 to 7. First touch. First run.

First taste of what it means to wear the sky blue.

This isn't just football. It's where Doggies are made.

Sessions are led by Ben Ebert — former First Team Captain at NUSC. The same man who led this club from the front is now here to meet your little one at the beginning of their journey.

MATCH REPORT
NUFC v Sturt FC – 31/5/26

This week our unbeaten U11s took on Sturt FC at home with an outstanding game of football from the very first whistle, the energy, excitement, and intensity were exactly what we spoke about during the week at training — and every single player delivered.

A big focus this week was composure in tight spaces and starting games strongly, and it was fantastic to see the players put that work into action on match day. The teams 360° play was outstanding, constantly shifting the ball from side to side and creating space all over the pitch. The movement, teamwork, and decision-making were brilliant to watch.

We dominated large periods of the game and could have scored many more but credit to Sturt FC’s goalkeeper who made some excellent saves and kept the scoreline respectable.

Most importantly, the coaching team were incredibly proud of the team’s commitment, passion, and willingness to work together. The positivity on the sidelines and the way the players encouraged one another showed what this group is all about.

A huge thank you to all the families and supporters who come out every week. Your support means so much to the players and helps create such a great environment for the team.

Well done U11s — a fantastic performance and another strong step forward together!
