A terrific Thursday at Mornington Civic Bowls Club yesterday. Our sponsor was O’Brien real estate Mornington who have been with us for over 20 years, many thanks to Kayne and team for their support. We did it all and Basil won the jackpot of $150, there was a tie between Johnny and Lou for a prize and then ………Chris and Phil donated their winning meat trays back and we had a live auction. We opened our greens for the season yesterday despite a typical Melbourne day of weather with hail, rain and sunshine. What a cracking Thursday we had at Mornington Civic Bowls Club. Our sponsor was Viva Hearing (Main St Mornington). D explained to us the importance of Social activities and interactions as we age and said that bowling and being part of a Club was a perfect model to follow. Yesterday at Mornington Civic we had a great day called “Battle of the Sexes”. Rob Bankier organised the day for us and he did a brilliant job. The winners were happy and we all played to win! Well done to everyone who attended 🥇🏅👏👌🏾🤞👍

Yesterday was our favourite day of the week at Mornington Civic BC. Our wonderful member Peter K sponsored the day and oh boy did we have some fun. There was plenty to cheer about as Peter and Jacqui also celebrated their 80th birthdays this week. Then to top it off Pam came in and presented the winning football tippers their prizes. Our place just rocks on. 🥰🤩🍀💕😉

And this is what we get up to on a Wednesday night at Mornington Civic. Indoor bowls, cards all followed up with pizza to share. We also played some Dolly (RIP) tunes. Like to join us sign up for Social Membership ($45 per year) and come on down and get amongst it.

Civic gets it right on sooo many angles. Our Friday nights are fun with friends and family coming together to enjoy some dinner and bowls.
