Former Devon Meadows juniors Blake Mullane and James Harmes are rumoured to a return back to the panthers.

Stay tuned, big news coming! A few clubs are in talks with a couple of big-name players. I’ll release more information once I verify these rumours.

We’re incredibly excited to announce Kris Thompson as our new Senior Head Coach for the 2027 season! 🐂

Kris brings with him an impressive coaching background and a wealth of experience across multiple levels of football.

His coaching journey has included line Assistant Coach roles with both the Frankston Dolphins and Box Hill Hawks at VFL level, before returning to his home club, Springvale Districts, where he has enjoyed a highly successful and long-term coaching stint, helping build a strong culture and delivering multiple premierships along the way.

But it’s not just Kris’ football CV that impressed us.

Throughout the selection process, his passion for the game, his understanding of what it takes to build a successful and connected playing group, and his genuine commitment to developing players and people really stood out.

Kris’ philosophy is centred around culture, connection, development and clear standards, creating an environment where players enjoy their football, challenge themselves, get the best out of each other and feel like they’re part of something bigger than themselves.

While success on the field will always be the goal, Kris is equally focused on building a strong, unified playing group and a culture that people genuinely want to be part of.

We believe Kris is the right person to lead our senior program into its next chapter, and we couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds.

Jarrod Richards Returning To Pines!!

According to my sources Jarrod Richards is rumoured to be returning to Pines from Subiaco.

Karingal Rumoured Coach Signing Kris Thompson!!

According to multiple sources, Karingal have secured their man.
Kris has spent the last 9 seasons coaching Springvale Districts.

Sources suggest Thompson won't be coming alone, with several quality players expected to follow him to Karingal as the Bulls look to make a statement heading into 2027.

According to multiple sources they say that one of the players on his way is a former VFL forward. If the rumours prove true, it would add to what is already shaping as a strong off-season following the return of Mason Russell.

Mason Russell Signs At Karingal!!

Mason is back at the Bullpit for the first time since 2019.
Since leaving Karingal, he has been playing with Springvale Districts in the Southern Football Netball League and now makes his return to the Bullpit.

My last post about Karingal seemed to ruffle a few feathers, so hopefully this update is a little easier to take.

After casting the net far and wide in their search for a new coach, sources have informed me that Karingal have found their man.

He's from the Southern Football Netball League.

Ethan Stanley Signs At Pines!!

Ethan played 2 games at Fremantle after being taken in the 2023 Mid Season draft.

He then went on to play VFL football for Box Hill and this past season at Casey.

More news to come from the Pines as they look to bounce straight back into Division 1.
