Seven days on in Koh Samui for our Soul Haven Island Retreat and I’m still finding the words.

The truth is, words can only ever reflect an experience like this. The real value was in the moments: being present, feeling deeply and sharing the journey with others.

We arrived with different stories and experiences, all having varying yoga practices, but with a shared willingness to step away from the noise and create space for something more.

We moved, breathed, reflected, laughed, listened and connected. We sat with discomfort, experienced stillness and learnt from one another. Above all, we were reminded of the power of a like-minded community.

Having Chris guide us as retreat host was such a special part of creating that space. He made yoga accessible and allowed everyone to experience the retreat in their own way.

My biggest reflections are simple:

Practise peace. Practise joy. Practise being in the now.

Return to the breath.
Be willing to do the work.
Sit with what feels uncomfortable.
Stay curious and find joy.
Learn from others.
Make space for change.

Retreat isn’t about escaping life. It’s about creating enough space to truly experience it and returning a little more connected, aware and alive.

As the founder of Soul Haven, I’m incredibly proud of what we created together. But no caption, photograph or video could ever fully capture it.

Some experiences need to be lived and felt in person. This was one of them.

Move, groove, laugh, and connect. ✨

A little look back at our Move & Groove Your Soul night at Soul Haven;.

From dancing together to sharing plenty of laughs and settling in for a little Centre Stage nostalgia… it was such a beautiful reminder of why our community is all about.

Trying something new, moving without taking ourselves to seriously, and creating space to simply be together.

Six months ago, we shared a vision. A vision for a Soul Haven; retreat that felt like more than just a getaway… but a space to slow down, reconnect, move, breathe and simply be.

Today that vision becomes a reality as we plan for our guests arrival, making sure that every detail has been considered.

From the moment our guests arrive every detail has been thoughtfully considered. From the setting and the experiences, to the little touches that make you feel cared for and at home.

We feel incredibly grateful to be here and even more grateful to share this experience with our community.
