What a great day at Encore Dance Challenge! ✨

Competition days are about so much more than placings.

They are an opportunity for our dancers to build confidence, learn how to perform under pressure, work together as a team, receive valuable feedback and continue growing as young artists.

We were incredibly proud of the effort, commitment and performance our dancers brought to the stage today. Even in sections where we were the only competitors, the focus remained the same — to perform with purpose, give their best and use every opportunity as a chance to improve.

A HUGE congratulations to our 14/U Jazz troupe, Sushi, who also received a Major Award for COSTUME! 🏆✨

But perhaps what we are most proud of is seeing our dancers encourage one another, take on corrections, support their teammates and keep striving to become stronger performers.

That is what our competition program is really about — developing not only capable dancers, but confident, committed and supportive young people.

And of course, a huge thank you to our wonderful parents for the hair, quick changes, organisation and encouragement behind the scenes. These days are always a team effort. 💛

Well done, dancers — another wonderful day of learning, performing and growing together.

✨ DanceStep Training Day! ✨

Our DanceStep students have been busy learning, growing and stepping into their leadership roles! 💫

Through DanceStep, our students get to experience what happens on the other side of the classroom — learning how to assist, encourage younger dancers, communicate with confidence and become positive role models within our studio.

It’s always so lovely to see them growing not only as dancers, but as young leaders too. 💛

Abermain Eisteddfod ✨

There were plenty of exciting moments on stage last weekend, but some of our favourite moments happened off the stage!
Of course, we love celebrating the performances, results and trophies but some of our proudest moments happened away from the stage.
We watched our dancers connect with students from other studios — some familiar faces and many they had only just met. Encouraging those who were nervous and supporting each other with kindness throughout the day.
These moments reminded us that competition is about so much more than just the trophies.
It's about sportsmanship, connection, confidence and learning to celebrate the success of others!

We are incredibly proud of our Junior Team for being recognised with the Sportsmanship Award this weekend. 🏆💙 What a wonderful reflection of the way they represented themselves.

🩰✨ BALLET EXAMS — DAY THREE! ✨🩰

Day 3 brought our Ballet Exam season to a close with our Vocational Ballet students taking centre stage.

The vocational levels are demanding, technical and incredibly challenging, requiring a high level of discipline, strength, artistry and commitment. We are so proud of our senior dancers for the hard work they have put in over the past twelve months to prepare for this day.

Reaching this level of ballet training is an achievement in itself, and it was wonderful to see each of you step into the exam room ready to rise to the challenge and give your very best.

A huge congratulations to our Day 3 dancers.
And with that… 2026 Ballet exams comes to an end.🩰✨

🩰✨ BALLET EXAMS — DAY TWO! ✨🩰

A little belated with our Day 2 post — but only because we were completely run off our feet with a very busy day of exams, classes and preparations!

Day 2 was all about our beautiful junior dancers, with lots of excited faces, final preparations and of course… plenty of ballet buns and hairstyles! 🎀🩰

We were so proud of the way our dancers handled their exam day — arriving prepared, focused and ready to give it their very best.

A huge well done to all of our Day 2 ballet students! You worked so hard in the lead-up to your exams and it was wonderful to see you step into the room with confidence.
