No wondering whether it’s working properly.

Behind the screen, there’s Topcon guidance, steering and control systems working together to manage things like accuracy, coverage and application control while you plant.

Most of the time it just quietly does its job in the background.

Which is exactly how good systems should work.

The interesting part is that a lot of farms are already using more precision ag technology than they probably think.

Usually there’s a warning sign first.

A signal dropping in and out.
An implement not communicating properly.
A steering system behaving inconsistently.

The problem is that during planting, those little warnings are easy to ignore until they turn into downtime.

A quick check early can save a lot of frustration later on.

A machine suddenly behaving a bit differently than normal.

Most setup problems don’t appear out of nowhere.

There’s usually a small sign first.

The operators who pick it up early are normally the ones who avoid bigger frustrations later on.

Or the implement won't communicate properly.

It's funny how the longest five minutes of the day usually happen before you've travelled ten metres.

Most breakdowns aren't major.

They're usually small issues that picked the wrong day to show up.

Usually it's the technology that's fallen behind, not the machine.

The last thing anyone wants is to lose half a day chasing a setup issue that could’ve been sorted beforehand.

Most of the time it’s not major failures either.

Usually it’s the small things.

Signal issues.
Coverage problems.
Offsets.
Calibration.

The little frustrations that don’t seem like much… until you’re sitting still in the paddock trying to sort them out.

A bit of rain around means plenty of tractors are sitting in the shed for a day or two (maybe a week or 2 if the forecast is right).

Not a bad time to make sure everything’s working the way it should before things fire up again.

Guidance.
Steering.
Offsets.
Coverage.
Signal.

The small things are a lot easier to sort out in the shed than halfway through a paddock.

A lot of people don’t realise there’s already Topcon technology running in plenty of machines and seeders out there.

Morris seeders are a good example.

A lot of the steering, control and guidance systems integrated into them are actually Topcon underneath - it’s just built into the machine setup rather than wearing a big Topcon sticker.

Most operators are already using more precision ag tech than they probably think.

And once it’s set up properly, it just quietly does its job in the background.
