Mordialloc Social Running Club The Mordi Social Running Club is a community group to bring people (18+) together to run and have fu We run 4 times a week, meeting at Mordialloc pier.

MSRC commenced in September 2014 and is a local community running group for everyone including beginners. We offer advice and support for new runners and tailor each session depending on the levels of participants. We are friendly, casual and all about community! Times:
Tuesday-6am
Wednesday-6pm
Friday-6am
Sunday-8am. We love the sense of achievement, the challenge and the feeling of getting fitt

Six hardy souls braved a strong westerly wind for a bracing run in light rain this morning. The main challenge was waiting in the cold wind at the pier until 8:05am. As we all know, there is not much shelter there at all. This type of weather did make running on the bush tracks even more enjoyable though. It is great to have so many options when starting a run at Mordialloc Pier.

Great conditions for running today and a big welcome to first timers Caz and Michael. The incompetent Run Leader (not mentioning anyone) forgot to take the group pic at the start so here is an action shot whilst running backwards and trying not to fall over. Our annual general meeting will be held at Mordialloc Neighbourhood House, 457 Main Street, Mordialloc. The meeting will start at 3:00pm on Saturday 30th May. We have meeting room 2 booked from 2:30 - 4:30pm. Tea, coffee and cake will be provided. Attendees are invited to arrive early and grab a cuppa before the meeting.

Amazing effort from our 'true believers' today as we braved a rare wet Sunday to jump in some puddles and complete a 10km run. Lots of great chats to keep us going and a coffee afterwards to warm us up. A great Sunday routine. Join us sometime - your pace your distance. Next run Tues 6am.

Wishing all the Mums out there a Happy Mother's Day and a big thanks for being awesome! A lovely run this week with perfect conditions and a happy group. Finished with coffee and chats at Siesta. The club will hold its annual general meeting at 3pm on Saturday 30th May. The meeting venue is to be confirmed. The following committee positions will be voted upon at this meeting:

General Committee Members (3)

The time commitment is five meetings per year, with in person and online attendance options. Committee members do things like organise social events, pursue fundraising opportunies, faciliate sale of MSRC branded merchandise and co-ordinate our social media.
