The 21st Annual Caboolture Open Taekwondo Championships is officially in the books!
What a fantastic day filled with happy teams, smiling faces, incredible performances, and plenty of well-earned bling proudly hanging around athletes’ necks.
As always, a massive thank you to the incredible army of Lakerdis Martial Arts families and volunteers. Your hard work behind the scenes makes this event possible every year, and you always make me look good!
To all of our Kyorugi and Poomsae referees—thank you for your professionalism, dedication, long hours, and commitment to fair play. We couldn’t run an event of this calibre without you.
To all the athletes, coaches, clubs, teams and families who travelled to be with us, thank you for your support. I hope you had an amazing day, enjoyed the competition, and had as much fun being part of the event as we did hosting it.
And finally, to my family—you are simply the best. Your unwavering support, countless hours of work, and belief in what we do are the reasons this event continues to be one of Queensland’s favourite tournaments. I couldn’t do it without you.
