The end of the Katie era!

Today, after 12 years of teaching, I’ve taught my last classes at Shaplands Morayfield. This job taught me so much patience, to love more deeply, the appreciation of every small achievement and how to enjoy all the little joyful moments. It is such a privilege to have such a special place in so many children’s lives and be able to watch everyone grow up.
The last 12 years have truly changed and shaped me as a person and I cannot thank the families enough (past & present) who have supported me through it all. It is such a bittersweet moment closing this chapter but I am so grateful for the lifetime friendships the entire Shapland community has provided me.

Breast Cancer Awareness 💕

One of our amazing parents Jess is raising money for Breast Cancer and shaving her head in support of those who are impacted and diagnosed, including her own sister who was diagnosed just 4 months after giving birth to her first child. You just never know when this could impact your own family and hit close to home.

Jess and her family have been a part of our Shapland community for the last decade and we would love to offer the support back to her and her family.

Attached is the link for all donations (donations are tax deductible) to help end deaths from breast cancer.

I've made a pledge to GO PINK and WEAR IT, SHAVE IT or COLOUR IT this June to raise funds in support of world-class breast cancer research. Please help me reach my goal and donate today!
