Sorry about tonight folks, have to close due to sickness amongst the troops. Keep you posted about tomorrow night.
Just a heads up we will start taking bookings for Christmas functions from now. All functions will be from 5.30pm on only because of the heat…that’s not comfortable for anyone!

Tonight, Saturday 25th, we are closed. There are so many events on today, we are low on staff and the timing system has taken some unplanned leave ( we will sort that out tomorrow)
However I would like to promote the Christmas in July Markets being held tonight at Moranbah Arts.
Starting at 4pm through to 8pm
Drop in before nightshift for some sweet treats or even suits dayshift workers…no one misses out!
The Kart Club does have a 100 board running $10 per square, first prize $400, 2nd prize Super Session voucher for the hire karts

I'm so sorry for anyone that may be calling to make a booking for the Kart Track this weekend> I'm in Brisbane and the track phone is in Moranbah 🤦‍♀️. I will be back in town lunchtime tomorrow to follow up any calls

We would like to send a thank you to the groups that come out to the track. We have some regulars that come out to let of a bit of steam fortnightly, chasing the elusive 37.044…so close. I still haven’t found out who Haymish is either. But thanks to you guys..Andrew D, Wesley, Evan, Mikey, Olly, Sena and your work mates. It helps us stay open.
I still have to tell people every week that we are NOT-FOR-PROFIT. Myself, John, Adriaan, we are the committee. We volunteer, nobody owns the track or the karts. All money earned goes straight back into the track…and the overheads are high. We have some great staff and it’s great we can employ local youth.
8 years this November since we opened. 8 YEARS!!I’m kind of impressed we have managed to stay this long. The track and karts are not perfect and running the place is tough going on the committee but we are hanging in there. If you haven’t been out yet, come take a look when we are open. Make a booking over the track bat phone 0427840063. Or pop out take a look. If it’s not already booked up we can potentially fit you in. Booking though is the best way and if it’s more than 4 people booking is essential. We don’t want you to be disappointed!
I’ll point out here that our insurance rules that is a zero alcohol level to get in the karts and we have to stick to this ruling.
