Tennis Victoria, with support from the Sustainable Regional Tennis Project, is seeking to pilot a Regional Squad Program within the Goulburn region. This program aims to address a current gap in the player development pathway, which is otherwise serviced across much of Victoria through the Victorian Regional Academy of Sport (VRAS) network.

The pilot will run for the remainder of 2026, providing an opportunity to evaluate the program's effectiveness and sustainability, with a view to establishing it as an ongoing initiative in 2027.

To lead the program, Tennis Victoria has engaged highly regarded coach David Bulbulian from Albury, who will oversee and deliver the squad sessions throughout the pilot period.

🎾 Exciting times ahead for Mooroopna Lawn Tennis Club! 🎾

We’re really looking forward to seeing the Hardcouts at our club renewed as part of the Greater Shepparton City Council’s 2026/27 program.

It’s fantastic to see our courts identified for renewal, and we can’t wait to see the improvements this will bring to our facilities following them being impacted during the 2022 floods.

The upgrades will be a great boost for our members, midweek ladies, juniors and everyone who enjoys getting out on our courts, helping us continue to provide a great place to play tennis for years to come.

There’s still a way to go, but it’s exciting to see these upgrades 😁👏🏻

We can’t wait to see the finished courts 🎾
