It’s shaping up to be a fantastic day celebrating these incredible horses and the skill of our drivers, with plenty to see and enjoy for the whole family. ⭐

If you’re planning on coming along, please remember:

You don’t need a heavy horse to take part — bring your pony along and get involved in the fun! Junior events will be split into two age groups, with both driven classes and novelty events on offer.

🐴 Benalla Heavy Horse Driving Day returns this weekend 🐴

Dust off the harness and head along for a fantastic day celebrating Clydesdales and heavy horses in action at the Moornag Hall and Recreation Reserve this Saturday.

Whether you’re a seasoned driver, horse owner or simply love seeing these gentle giants up close, there’s something for everyone. From long rein classes and obstacle courses to junior events and novice competitions, it’s a great day out for the whole family.

Classes for Senior, Junior, and Novice drivers
A great opportunity for beginners to have a go, with horses available for use on the day! 🐎

Public welcome – come and enjoy a day of stunning horses and action!
