Dorothea Lucaci runs very popular Sound Immersions at the studio. Before she became interested in sound she worked for 10 years in the fashion industry in New York. But wanting to experience something deeper developed an interest in sound, and wanted to learn about the instruments from their source. She studied with Silvia Nakkach in New York at The Open Centre, a place of holistic learning and Inner growth, learning about voice, toning and Icaro - sacred medicine songs used by Indigenous people. She learnt about tuning forks with John Beaulieu and other modalities with other teachers there. She traveled to India and studied Dhrupad, classical Indian singing, and on returning to Australia spent 12 months doing workshops with a Tibetan Buddhist monk in Frankston learning the Tibetan Singing Bowls. She brings many years of experience to her sessions, and people feel it, they love them.
