ONE MONTH TO GO UNTIL THE AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS!

A big Congratulations to the juniors selected for the Victorian State team that will be competing in the Australian Junior Championships in Devonport, Tasmania (27 Sep - 3 Oct).

Head Coach Cassie Thomas is excited: Myself and the assistant coaches Amelia and CJ are looking forward to watching our Victorian juniors compete against the best juniors across Australia. Preparation has been going well with our juniors taking part in training camps and tournaments both in Australia and overseas. The team has a great mix of experience and debutants so we can’t wait to get started.

Under 19's: Joanne Joseph, Amelia Brigden, Connor Harberecht, Nicholas Mazzarella, Zuke Althaus

Under 17's: Tina Ma, Chelsea Paule, Mia Sundernathan, Ketan Porwal, Elijah Rolls, Jackson Martin

Under 15's: Yashica Jiwa Mohan, Shara Sumanth, Jay Porwal, Adam Kamal, Dhrhuv Ravikumar

Under 13's: Millie Goldsmith, Kayla Goonewardena, Ria Daudia, Aleister Loo, Freddie Goldsmith, Joshua Kempster.

Captains to be announced shortly. The 2026 team will look to better their third place finish from last years event in Ballarat.

A Reserve: TSMC2 v TSMC3 (guaranteed a win!)
B Grade: TSMC5 v Monash University5
C Grade: TSMC10 v VRC3

TOURNAMENT UPDATE!

The Monash University Open was held at the weekend and a few of our TSMC members took part achieving fantastic results.

Division 5: Winner-Millie Goldsmith
Division 2: Runner up-Freddie Goldsmith
Division 2: 3rd place-Bryan Byrne
Division 3: 3rd place - Karthik Srinivasan
Division 4: 11th place-Shara Sumanth
Women’s Beginner Division: Daisy Goldsmith-2 wins, 1 loss
