Presentation night is fast approaching, - Saturday, March 28 at the Ormond Park pavilion, 7pm start.

We will be announcing and presenting the Club Champion (First Eleven), the Sean O’Kane Award (all grades other than the Firsts), batting, bowling and fielding awards for each grade, milestone trophies for games, runs and wickets, the medallions from the MVP vote count, the Lindsay Jones Best Clubman award and other awards.

The cost is $30 per person, with the meal comprising antipasto platters, a choice of either lasagna or chicken parmigiana as main course and a dessert. The lasagna comes in meat or vegetarian, and people with preferences should email [email protected] with their
advice. People can also nominate whether their preference is for the lasagna or parmigiana main choice.

To assist with cash flow we ask people to pay direct into the Club’s bank account: A/c Name:Moonee Valley Cricket Club. BSB: 633108 A/c Number: 138449160. Don’t forget to put your name on the payment details so we can identify who has paid. And please email our Club Treasurer, Allan Cu***ng at [email protected] with your details to confirm payment. People can also pay cash on the night or through our card machine at the bar.

Moonee Valley Cricket Club proudly congratulates Sunil Bhandari on his selection in the Australian Over 55s side currently touring New Zealand.

To represent your country at any level is a significant achievement. It reflects years of commitment to the game, sustained performance, and the respect earned from teammates and selectors alike. Selection alone is an honour; doing so while continuing to perform at a high level elevates it further.

Adding to this accomplishment, Sunil was recently awarded Best on Ground in a touring victory. Individual recognition in representative cricket carries particular weight, as it is earned among elite peers and under competitive international conditions. It speaks not only to skill, but to composure and leadership.

Sunil’s achievements bring pride to the entire Moonee Valley community. His dedication to cricket, both at club level and beyond, sets a standard for players across all grades.
