We are staging the "2023 Australian Kegel Championships" again at the "Kingsford the Barossa" venue in South Australia from the 7th to the 11th of August 23.
It was very successful early this year with over 30 participants and we like to make it much better and larger next year.
It would be great to get a variety of players, Kegelers or Tenpin bowlers to join us. I will post more details soon, but if you are interested, please contact me on 0407 292 112 or [email protected].

I have neglected our Facebook site; my excuse is that I have been to busy. We have been building a few new bowling installations, a double Tenpin lane in Essendon, Vic; a double short Tenpin lane in a caravan park at Soldiers Point near Port Stephens, NSW and a single lane for Brendo on the Sunshine Coast. Below is a picture of the Essendon lanes and I will post the other ones as soon as possible.

Well, we have settled for a new date to hold the Kegel Championship at Kingsford the Barossa in SA. The new date is Tuesday the 29th of March to Thursday the 31st of March. Hope that the travel arrangements will be fine.

Unfortunately, due to the travel restrictions, we have to postpone the Championship for the time being. All of the trophies are sitting here waiting for a little longer. We will keep you updated with the new date as soon as the borders are open.

2021 Australian Kegel 9-pin bowling championship

We are holding the 2021 Australian Kegel 9-pin bowling championship for the first time in South Australia on the 8th to the 10th of October.

The venue will be at the “Kingsford the Barossa” in Kingsford in the Barossa Valley, which is close to Gawler SA.

Players from NSW and Qld will be travelling there to compete with some locals in this brand-new Kegel Bowling venue. If you can roll a straight ball, you will have a lot of fun.

Kegelbahn
Kegel' is German for skittles. It came to the Barossa in the 19th Century and survives to this day. The game features nine pins that you knock down with a bowling ball. The challenge and fun of our fully automated Kegelbahn is hard to resist. A lively location where skills are tested and friendships forged - and occasionally, where skills are forged and friendships tested. It even has its own bar, the KegelBar.
