Melissa's Equestrian Academy provides you with all your hands on equestrian needs. Lessons, horse training, breaking, OTT TBs and much more!!!

MEA provides horse riding lessons for all ages and all levels of experience. Lesson horses can be provided but if you have your own then I can travel to you. Also providing all areas of horse training from breaking, to higher education, OTT TB re-education, race horse pre-training, rehabilitation programs, and agistment (availability varies). MEA often has horses for sale but if they are not suitable then I can assist with helping you find your perfect match.

It is a smaller show with two rings and sporting events afterwards.
The perfect environment for competitors needing more experience, green horses, or for those who love to go out and have a super fun and safe day competing.
Low stress with a very welcoming community for horses and riders of all abilities.
Ribbons, garlands and prizes to be won!

Playmate

A beautiful 16yo mare standing at approx 16.1hh.

Lovely laid back nature.

Still green in terms of any distinct discipline education. However happy to plod around the arena all day.

She loves being loved.

Ideally suited to a teenager.

She has no vices.
Easy to do everything with.

Up to date with worming, teeth, farrier, chiro work.

LEASED

We are offering our dear Robbie for lease.

On property lease is preferred, however off property lease is available to those who approved.

Robbie is a much loved horse here at our Academy. He is a valued lesson horse. However with the current times we do not have the clientele numbers and he has not been sitting in the paddock doing nothing. Robbie is a very social horse and absolutely loves attention and spending time with people. So for him to be in a paddock not having this interaction is unfair on him.

He has the most gentle soul and is such an easy horse to have around.

We are not looking at selling him. We are offering an opportunity for someone to lease him for a period of time. This is a great opportunity for those that may not be in a situation to be able to purchase a quiet, well trained horse.

🦄Horses & Ponies
We have fantastic lesson horses and ponies available. All their gear is provided.
We have helmets available.
If you have your own horse you are also welcome to bring them 🙂

👖Clothing:
Long pants, sleeved shirt, closed in shoes, and a hat for break times. Suncream MUST be worn, we do provide it if you forget :)

This is by far the hardest decision I have had to make 🥺😭

Introducing Tony Pony

This little superstar is looking for a new 🏡
If I had more room and more time he would be staying here forever 🥺

Standing at 13.3/14hh he may be small but his heart is mighty.

He is approximately 11yo. Welsh cross quarter horse, not registered and unable to be.

We purchased Tony Pony with the intentions of him becoming a riding school horse. However, Tony Pony had other ideas. He much prefers to be having fun and thoroughly enjoys learning and experiencing new things.

This special boy is such an easy pony to have around hence why I could not sell him when he didn't work out as a school Pony. I have planned to sell him several times but just couldnt do it. Havingblimited space and 5 horses that need to be started under saddle he simply has to go 😭

He has a beautiful quiet and loving nature. He is happy to have my daughter around him and is not fazed by her hectic antics. We also go for trail rides together where I lead her and her mini horse. I can leave him for weeks/months and just hop on and go. He requires zero work down after a spell

Tony Pony is currently training novice/elementary and has jumped up to 65cms with scope to go higher. He is establishing walk to canter and halt to canter, flying changes, counter canter, extended trot, shoulder in, hindquarters in, and leg yield.

He is such an easy horse at competitions. Chilled out and relaxed. Zero work down required. He has competed in dressage and jumping. He has also done a cross country clinic with a client and popped over the cross country jumps at our local showgrounds.

As much as he is a placid and easy horse he is most certainly not a beginners horse. He is well trained and very responsive to communication. He would ideally suit a small adult rider or teenager that is a soft educated rider.

Tony Pony is a once in a lifetime pony and will only be sold to the very best of homes. I will also not be selling sight unseen as he definitely is a pony that picks his people and I want to ensure he is happy with his new potential owners.
