I am deeply honoured and humbled to share that I have been inducted into the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame, receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award.
This is an honour I accept with immense gratitude and humility. Taekwondo has been a huge part of my life, and this recognition is not something I see as an individual achievement, but as a reflection of the many people who have shared the journey with me.
I am incredibly grateful to my instructors, students, training partners, fellow martial artists, friends and, most importantly, my family for their support, encouragement and belief over the years.
There have been many challenges, countless hours of training, and so many wonderful people along the way. Every lesson, every student and every experience has contributed to the journey.
To be recognised in the Taekwondo Hall of Fame is a privilege I will always treasure.
Special gratitude to GM Hassan Iskander for nominating me, training partners in our younger years, professional Taekwondo colleagues in our progression of Taekwondo in Australia, but also as life long friends.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of my Taekwondo journey. I am truly grateful.
