Mountain Creek Mooloolaba Swimming Club is one of the best high performance clubs on the Sunshine Coast. The Club caters for all swimming levels from juniors, state level, national age group level and Australian open level swimmers. The Club is based from the fantastic Mountain Creek Aquatic Centre, one of the leading centres for aquatic sports on the Sunshine Coast. Our swimming club is committed

to our ongoing aim to taking swimmers to the highest level of swimming as well as providing an environment that encourages swimmers to continue to improve at any level. Our balanced swim programs ensure that we are building a tradition of achievement and success, coupled with fun and friendship. We hope that any person who joins our swimming club can take part in all that Mountain Creek Mooloolaba has to offer, and can be enriched by the growing history, knowledge, and success that we have enjoyed since the beginning of the club.

On Saturday, our Makos hopped aboard the “Harvey Bus” for a short road trip to the Brisbane Aquatic Centre for the QLD State Relay Championships!

What’s a road trip without a sing-along? 🎶 (Yes, a theme appeared- Christmas tunes!)

For many of our swimmers, this was their first time competing at such a large event. They faced big challenges—warming up in a packed pool, navigating the busy stands, the hustle of the marshalling area, and managing those nerves at the blocks. And they did it all with determination and team spirit!

Congratulations to the entire team! 👏

A special shout-out to Judith and Joel, who stayed on to represent the Wide Bay Swim Team in the regional relays.

With just 9 swimmers, our team achieved an incredible 10th place overall out of 29 clubs — a fantastic result that reflects the hard work and determination of every athlete. Well done, team!

Our small but powerful team made an impact at the Wide Bay Swimming Championships at St Andrews over the weekend, bringing home 10 podium finishes and 7 near-podium results!
