1st Pony club rally for 2026 done!
The weather ended up being perfect.
Trail ride was lots of fun- even our youngest ready to ride members joined us all out on the trails

Show jump course all set up for sessions with Ethan Height today.
Then it will be out for a bush trail ride with all the intructors also riding horses.
Finishing the day off with dressage and cross country.
Hopefully the weather holds out!

There’s a running joke with almost anyone who knows me when I roll in to a horse comp “how many ponies are in that float today?”

Because of 2 reasons.
My ponies float like saints so we can take extras,
And because I always have extra horses for kids who don’t own a pony.

I spend my life trying to help other kids enjoy horses.
I didnt ride as a child. I didnt have those opportunities. I know what it’s like to love something and not have the ability to achieve it.
I had to watch my friends ride, and just enjoy one lesson a year, as it’s all my parents could afford.

Now as an adult, I have a beautiful little business where I work every single day of my life, creating kids ponies out of quirky ponies, unbroken ponies, rescue ponies, all shapes and sizes come thru the gates. And most turn into fabulous kids ponies who go on to create dreams for and with children.

On Sunday night my float was stolen, after pony club and Geelong show, so it’s full of my girls gear.

I took 7 ponies to that rally. 2 were for my own children.

My float is gone. Full of irreplaceable gear.

I can no longer take ponies to pony club, or to local events for my children, or for the children who borrow ponies.

Help me find my float and the Hilux that stole it.

Sunday 26th October between 11:30-midnight a white hilux with a tray, scrub bars and NO front antenna was seen driving up to our gates and a young male got out of the passenger seat and went thru the paddocks to access the property.

In Memory of Noel Silvester Steele
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Noel Silvester Steele, a cherished Life Member and past President of Pony Club Victoria. Noel passed away on November 11, 2024, after a short illness, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and passion for the equestrian community.
Noel’s journey with horses began later in life, sparked by his daughter Francine’s involvement with the Doongala Pony Club. His newfound love for riding quickly grew into a commitment to the club’s administration, where he served as Secretary, President, and ultimately District Commissioner. His leadership and vision were instrumental in shaping the club’s future.
Noel’s contributions extended beyond the local club as he took on roles within the Pony Club Association of Victoria. Serving initially as a Zone Representative and later as State President from 1979 to 1989, Noel’s influence and dedication were felt across the entire state. His tenure was marked by a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for young riders.
Noel’s passion for Pony Club and his unwavering dedication to its members were evident in everything he did. He was a guiding light, a mentor, and a friend to many. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of riders and administrators.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Noel’s family including daughters Bronwyn and Francine and friends during this difficult time. His memory will forever be cherished within the Pony Club community.
