After missing Round 2 due to illness, I’m excited to be back and heading to Portland Kart Club for another weekend of racing.

One of the things I love most about karting is that every race meeting is another opportunity to learn, improve and challenge myself. Whether it’s finding a few extra tenths, learning from tough races, or celebrating the good ones, every lap helps me become a better driver.

What many people don’t see is the support network behind the scenes that helps get me to the track each weekend. From preparation in the garage to race-day guidance and the equipment I rely on, there are some amazing people and businesses helping me chase my goals.

🔥🏁Brad Jones Challenge – Rochester Kart Club

A solid testing weekend ahead of the Golden Power Series. We spent the weekend trying a few different things with the kart setup and gathered some really valuable data along the way.

It definitely wasn’t all smooth sailing though. We had a flat tyre and hit a roo on the way up to Rochester in two separate incidents! The joys of lots of racing and travelling 🤪. Thankfully the roo bounced away unharmed, although the trailer didn’t come off as lucky and has a bit of damage that’ll need repairing. Looks like we might need to activate Plan B to get the kart to Hamilton next weekend!

To top it off, we also forgot the transponder and micro batteries 🤦‍♂️ Huge thanks to the team and for bailing us out over the weekend — absolute legends! 👊

Despite the chaos, the pace was strong and we managed to come home with the top step on both days 🏆🏆

Big shout out to for the continued support. We couldn’t do it without you! See you next week at Hamilton for Round 2 of the Victorian Country Series!

What a weekend in Griffith! ☀️🏁

It was definitely a warm one for the Ultimate Kart Racer event, hosted by the amazing crew at . The hospitality was absolutely top-notch — you guys really know how to make everyone feel welcome! 🙌

It was my first time tackling the Griffith track, and we had a few setup challenges to work through with the different surface. We weren’t quite where we wanted to be pace-wise, but learned a lot and made progress as the weekend went on.
