We’re excited to announce that Adam (Raph) Raphael and Chris (Hally) Hall are stepping up into the Senior Women’s coaching team for 2027! 🐻

Both Raph and Hally have been instrumental as assistant coaches, as well as working across the forward and backline coaching roles. Their experience, commitment and knowledge of the game make them a fantastic fit to take the next step.

We can’t wait to see what they bring to the Senior Women’s program in 2027! 💪

🐻 !POLLY IS BACK FOR 2027! 🐻
We’re thrilled to announce that Brett “Polly” Pollard will be back at the helm of our Reserve Women’s side in 2027! 🙌

Polly joined us in April this year after his previous club’s women’s side unfortunately didn’t get up and running, and he didn’t take long to make his mark at Lower Plenty.

From day one, Polly has brought an incredible level of knowledge, passion and genuine love for the game, quickly becoming a valued part of our women’s program and the wider Bears family. 🐻❤️

We can’t wait to see what Polly and his team can achieve in 2027. We’re lucky to have you! 🫶🏼

A very special congratulations to our Senior Co-Captain Ciaran Porter and his wife Olivia on welcoming their beautiful baby girl, Daisy Bella Porter🌸

Arriving safely on 10 August at 3:25pm, little Daisy is already so loved and has brought plenty of joy to the Porter family. 🥰

From leading our Seniors on the field to taking on his most important role yet, we couldn’t be happier for Ciaran and Olivia as they embark on this incredible journey of parenthood.

Wishing your little family a lifetime filled with love, laughter and countless precious memories.
