Richmond Cricket Club is incredibly proud to congratulate Academy players Cooper Box and Neal Guliya on their selection in the Australian Junior Indoor Cricket Teams.

🏏 Cooper Box – Australian U16 Boys Team
🏏 Neal Guliya – Australian U14 Boys Team

Following outstanding performances at the Australian Junior Indoor Cricket Championships at Casey Stadium, both players have earned the opportunity to represent Australia at the 2026 Junior World Series in South Africa.

This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to the hard work, commitment and dedication both Cooper and Neal continue to show in their cricket.

Congratulations, Cooper and Neal. Everyone at Richmond Cricket Club is incredibly proud of you, and we can't wait to see you wear the green and gold on the world stage! 🇦🇺💚💛

🖤💛 Vale Brian Clifford Porter 💛🖤

It is with great sadness that Richmond Cricket Club acknowledges the passing of Brian Clifford Porter (1942–2026), who passed away on 10 July 2026, aged 83.

Brian proudly represented Richmond Cricket Club, earning Club Cap #379, and remained a lifelong servant of the game. His passion for cricket extended far beyond his playing days, with an extraordinary contribution across Victorian cricket spanning decades.

Following his time at Richmond, Brian also played with Box Hill Cricket Club, Glen Iris Cricket Club and Blackburn North Cricket Club, while serving as both a player and coach at Mitcham Cricket Club. He later became one of the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association's most respected umpires, officiating for almost 20 years, including an incredible 12 Ray McIntosh Shield Grand Finals. In 2025, Brian's outstanding service to cricket was recognised with his induction into the inaugural BHRDCA Hall of Fame.

On behalf of everyone at Richmond Cricket Club, we extend our sincere condolences to Brian's family, friends and all those whose lives he touched through cricket.

Rest in Peace, Brian. Thank you for your service to Richmond Cricket Club and to the game you loved. You will always be remembered as Richmond Cricket Club Cap #379. 🏏🖤💛
