And so another Molong Cup has come and gone. Putts have been sunk, trees have been hit and sob-stories have been shared.
A breezy Day 1 was followed by a bitingly cold Day 2, helping to further perpetuate the myth that Molong is always cold and gusty (sure it often is when disc golfers hit town).
Anyway, that aside, when the frosty mist had cleared and the day was done Kade Ashton had claimed the overall male title, Claire Bruton the overall female and the pride of Blayney, Jack Eagle, had claimed the junior title.
The Molong Cup perpetual trophy, for the player who smashed their PDGA rating by the most, went to Julia Smith, who had destroyed her rating by an average of 72 points per round.
James Davenport also won the annual Busted Fuse Award for the worst shank and so takes this prestigious title (along with a lovely Molong timber bowl) as he heads off on his exciting journey OS.
Thankyou to all who travelled to be with us and helped to make it such a wonderful and successful event.
Thankyou also to our supporters and sponsors including Small Acres Cyder, Against the Grain Woodturning, Lone Star Discs and Cross Tasman discs.
