Inaugural Rich River Ambrose a Huge Success
The inaugural Rich River Ambrose has wrapped up in spectacular fashion, with Paul Cornelius and Scott Cornelius claiming the major prize – an incredible golfing getaway to Seven Mile Beach, Hobart, including return flights, accommodation, and two rounds of golf.
A fantastic field of 128 players took part across the weekend, making the inaugural event an outstanding success.
Leading into the tournament, the course team faced a significant challenge after more than 60mm of rain fell during the week. Their dedication and hard work ensured the course was presented in outstanding condition, providing players with excellent playing surfaces despite the difficult lead-up. A huge congratulations and thank you to the entire course staff for their tremendous effort.
Adding to the excitement, Daniel Sullivan achieved every golfer's dream by recording a hole-in-one on the 3rd hole of the East Course from the black tees—an exceptional achievement and one that will be remembered for years to come. Congratulations, Daniel!
A sincere thank you goes to all of our players, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and everyone who contributed to making the inaugural Rich River Ambrose such a memorable weekend.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year. Stay tuned for the 2027 Rich River Ambrose dates.
