Rich River Croquet Club

Rich River Croquet Club Rich River Croquet Club has around 55 members and we are always pleased to welcome visitors. Practice from 11am then names in by 12.30pm for 1pm comp.

Three kinds of Croquet are played:

• Association Croquet is played Wednesdays and Saturdays. from April till the end October. From November to end March 9.00 a.m. for 9.30 comp start. Golf Croquet players are welcome to practice on both Association days.

• Golf Croquet is played Tuesdays and Thursdays. Names in by 9am for 9.30am start.

• Kingball is played once a month

ub has 4 'A' courts and another that can be prepared for special events. The Club is located behind the Bowling Club adjacent to the driving range. Lessons are available all year round. Kingball was the croquet game this fine morning with twenty members rocheting their balls to make the best position or a hoop. Only two players won all 3 games; Ruth Mole and Steve Potter, in the end there was only 1 hoop the difference. Seventeen players played Doubles croquet this morning. Four players won all 3 games; John Hall, Russell Clarke, Leon Koch and Steve Potter. Congratulations to the Winner Steve Potter who has been in fine form lately and the Runner-up Russell Clarke. Eleven members played Doubles croquet this morning, with three players winning all three games; Leon Koch, Steve Potter and Cherie Lessing. The Win went to Steve Potter scoring 3 games +15 hoops. Presentation Dinner – 27 May 2026
This year the annual Rich River Croquet Club Presentation Dinner was held on Wednesday 27 May 2026 in the Rich River Golf Club Bingo room, with many members enjoying the luncheon and congratulating the Winners from the 2025/2026 year. Special Guests included Shane Gloury CEO and Susan Hull Board President of the Rich River Golf Club. Croquet Club members also celebrated a Special Birthday for Marg Kennedy the Club’s Secretary.
