The best of Phoenix is in these Juniors. Congratulations to everyone that graded today and worked hard all year to earn every step.
It was the junior class of the year with every kid stepping up to their best and smashing the hardest class of the year. Hard fitness, hard contact drills and toughness must be demonstrated.
Special note to Rufus (best & Fairest) , Naziah (best Rookie) and Josh (most improved. Big achievement of the day was Layla for the bench mark Level 10 in the program. Earnt after 9 years of dedicated training, commitment, improvement, ferocity and a constant willingness to strive.
I have coached juniors for 30 years and it is obvious these kids keep improving on the Phoenix high standard. I commend the parents for being brave enough to put their kids into a tough program that breads resilience, hardness and rewards effort.
These juniors seperate themselves from their peers by doing a hard contact martial art, getting off their phones - for 2 hours at least - and not being 'over entitled' kids of the AI generation.
