Wednesday Racing @ Rosehill

R3 n2 Fleetwood- Missed the price. Currently @$2.40 to Win still somewhat justifiable .. small field, jmac back in town and form behind gustosisimo first up this prep and was only 3 lengths off the very fast ozzmosis last prep. Should go straight back to last and get them in the straight.

R5 N3 Step Aside - Returns here first up after 4 month break, drawn a good barrier with collet booked to steer aswell, should settle up in the first 5 or so .. Had 2 quite trials leading in most recent was a pass looked to be settled with the noseroll on, switched off heels and travelled to the line nicely. E/W Play @$6.5/2.1 (if there's NTD at time of bet, place bet only recommended)

R6 N7 Buillt - Had 5 runs this prep and had been unlucky in most and been getting too far back.Drawn to be able to get up on the speed with no pace in the race and only 3 possible leaders i could mark, with most of this field being backmarkers or off the pace he should be able to pinch a good spot get it soft in the run and run quickest sectionals over the last 800-->600m (see racenet). With waller persisting at the 1800 m when this horse has been his best over 1400 to a mile looks to be intent to get him to run the distance. good track a plus, jmac & waller, E/W @ $6.5/2.1

Short enough odds for maiden class, but this Snitzel gelding has been a consistent galloper and back to 1100 m which I think he's going to become a specialist as a sprinter. Good draw, good going and will be charging the last 200m to put this field away.

I've followed this filly since her first trial, liked her action and being a tavistock having her first race start over 1400m Mark Newnham must be pleased to put her at a winning trip for her first race start.

R5 N2 Reggiewood W @$3.1 BEST BET
First Aus start was a real eye catcher, came second last at the 300m and bolted home for 3rd Gets a more favourable trip with an extra 400 m to put this lot away.

R7 N4 Invincible Kiss E/W $10/2.8
3rd up, gets the handy apprentice to claim and will be at peak fitness for this run.In my opinion is over the odds for a confident each way play, only problem will be if the fav gets away with cheap sectionals in the lead but should at least run a hole.

After a big weekend let's try to start the week off with a bang. Small plays as it is a Monday in Muswellbrook, but here's 4 horse I'll be playing on today.
Muswellbrook
R2 N2 Fusaichi Family W @$2.35 (BEST BET)
If this mare can get any luck from the barriers and can land not to far back she will be rocketing home to take this out, she's a backmarker but her closing sectionals are fairly impressive for a 3 start twice placed maidener. G Buckley in the saddle always a advantage and the combo of him and B.Cavanough at this track are profitable.

R3 N1 Andorra La Vella W @$3.6
Pretty much get the run of the race, it'll jump 1st lead the whole way and just be the last 100m that will be telling. Gets the same set up as its previous race which it won, only cops 1kg penalty for the win and same jockey sticks aboard in Rory Hutchings who I believe is one of the better heavyweight riders of the country scene. He has a 86% ROI over 1690 rides this stat is insane 😳

R4 N7 Danzette W @$3.6 - LOW CONFIDENCE
I'm not overly sold on this horse or this race however, if they go mad up front for the lead she looks to get the sit and sprint job to round them up. She gets rain affected going which she doesn't mind but the step back to 1280 isnt so pleasing she looks to need the 1400.The main reason I've put her ontop in this race is 2 runs back she finished 2.5 lengths off yearning who won has since won a GP1 and was close in a GP2 her last 2 starts, I think it'll be a good form reference.

R7 N1 Miss Kojiki W @$3.3 (2ND BEST BET)
I may be too forgiving or chasing my tail with this 4yo daughter of real impact. She has so much potential but can't seem to finish them off, she's had 12 starts for 1 W, 5 S and 3 T.
Her last 3-4 runs she's found the wrong part of the track to come home on, I think by race 7 there should be a patten occur and Todd Howlett/Mikayla Weir have to pick up on it and make sure they do anything to get the best part of the track. She deserves a 2nd win and this looks like the correct field to take the win.

N6 Espiona W @$1.6
This filly has trialled the house down and was not hard to put this girl on top. James McDonald to steer always is a plus on maiden horses trialling well. To my eye it looks as though she will move through the grades fairly easily and quite quick. Use as a anchor bet in multis, but if wanting to have a single bet i would wait until the jump to get the best odds about her.

R2 - 1400 m 3Y+ Maiden
N4 Yagoona W @ $4.6
Had a lot of bad luck coming out of he's first race start, got back on the rails and every gap that appeared closed until the 250 m mark. Once he got the run he finished of the race fairly strong and looked as though he is a serious contender especially if he gets any kind of luck. **For those playing all up place multis don't leave this bloke out.

R3 - 1100 m BM72
N2 Jerle W @ $2.7
As a 2YO this bloke had bundles of potential but just ran into some hard opposition at the time, he was 2nd in a Group 3 and then went to SA & VIC where he also ran into good company. He had just under a year away from the track and has looked to come back strongly, 3rd up tomorrow and should have just enough sting out of the track to suit him. Expect him to be hitting the line very strong in a some what modest field, he looks to be well place by the blue army who are flying.

R4 - 1600 m BM78
N6 Grande Rumore W @$3.3
I have got fairly low confidence in this race, however the previous run of the favourite Grande Rumore was the best run coming into this race. This mare is 3rd up and fit, look for her to settle 3-4 from the back and one off the fence and come home strongly to really relish the run out the 1600 m.

R5 - 2400 m BM-72
N5 Arabolini E/W @ $5.5/$2
This horse has been up and running for a long time but that's how he likes it, he stays the trip but will need a bit of give in the track. Glen Boss should be able to dictate things in the run and get to the front within 300 - 400m from the jump, to me he is a small each way play all day.

R6 - 1400 m FMB-72
N8 Nothinsweetaboutme E/W @$15/$3.1
In a fairly wide open race i've settle with the G*i & Adrian trained 4YO So You Think mare, first up here but is down in grade. Last prep she competed very well in a Fillies Group 3 race being only 1.2 lengths behind Miravalle. If she can produce a run close to that she will go extremely close to winning this assignment first up.

R7 - 1200 m BM-78
N5 Promotions E/W @$7/$2.5
This runner looks to be the consistent galloper of the lot but he hasn't chalked up to many wins up which is why we are getting some juicy odds about him. He rarely runs a bad race and always try's hard, with Nash in the saddle ill be looking for a very strong and conservative ride. With a wide barrier he should be able to place him 2-3 pairs back of the fence and find the right horse to run him into the race and peel off bout the 350 - 450 mark and rattle home.

N12 Six Again W @$4
There has been good support for the Godolphin runner in Tiny, but i think the 2 that will settle 1st & 2nd being N12 Six Again and N1 Lady Brook will put to much speed into the race at a high tempo and leave the rest of the field behind. I hope to see Kerrin McEvoy hand up the lead and stalk Tim Clark the whole race, peel out with 200 - 300 m to go and finish he stronger of the 2. I think Matthew Dunn has a handy mare on his hands and should be even more impressed after this race.

Early kosciuszko prediction here at the hoove. It was a very strong performance in a lower grade yesterday at scone, however the time that it was done in and the performance was unreal to the eye. Mathematically the times are quicker than the current fav in "it's me" and at $21 it's worth a spec.. remember that it's pre noms so any money placed will not be refunded if it doesn't make the field. So a Suggested small bet at this time, if my ticket gets drawn I'll be selecting this redoutes choice gelding named NADARAJA.
