Miriam Vale Golf Club Miriam Vale Golf Club is a welcoming 9 Hole Course with a great atmosphere and surrounded by beautiful nature & wild life. Well worth a visit.

The Clubhouse is Unmanned on a weekly Basis, which runs of a honesty box for payment and there are NO hired Buggies Miriam Vale Golf Course is 9 Holes set in a natural environment with kangaroos often seen on the course. Fairways are grassed with natural Blue Couch and greens are 328 Turf. The course is 68 par measuring 5192mts. With 3 par 3’s, 4th -123mts, 5th – 180mts & 7th – 188mts plus 5 par 4

’s and one par 5 at 485mts. This may seem a short course but it is set up to try any golfer and will test your short game! It has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Club house is open on competition days – Wednesday morning Ladies & Saturday afternoon Men’s & Ladies and Sunday there is a Mixed event. Others days there is an honour system to pay the Green Fees. Social Groups very welcome – we will cater for these groups if booked in.

⛳️ Ladies Results - September Monthly Medal and Sue K.'s Trophy ⛳️

We had a good field of 11 players for the September Monthly Medal on Wednesday, 2 September. Sue K. donated trophies for the winner and the runner up - many thanks Sue for sponsoring the day.
The winner of the September Monthly Medal and Sue K.’s trophy, with an amazing 62 nett was Jan. Allison R. was runner up with 67. Third was Allyson F. with 71 from Kristen with 73 on a countback from Jane and Kaye.
The Division 1 pinshot winner was Kaye with 89cms and the Division 2 pinshot winner was Jan with 6cms.

A reminder that nominations for Andersons Auto City Mixed Open Championship on Saturday, 12 September close next Wednesday, so you still have time to get your nominations in.

⛳️ Men's Comp Saturday 29th ⛳️

Yesterday was the final round for the Annual Founders Cup and also Gary Whitmore Trophy Day, thank you Gary for your generosity. This was a Stroke Event with some very Handy scores amongst a great field of our men's members.

The 2026 Founders Cup Trophy 🏆 goes to Mick Turner, Mick had two great rounds over the two weekends to take the win with a handy score of 137 Nett. Congratulations Mick on your win 👍.
This is one of the trophies all members look to win each year, so its definitely a hard one..

⛳️Joan Noon trophy and Founders Cup results⛳️

On Wednesday, 27 August we had 12 players vying for trophies donated by Joan Noonan. Joan donated trophies for the winner and the runner up, and we thank her for her support for our club.
We played a Stroke and popup Medal in conjunction with the second round of the Founders Cup with trophy donated by Life Member Colin Bayliss.
The winner of Joan’s trophy, with an equal personal best of 65, was Allison R. from runner up Allyson F. with 67. Jo took third place with 69 from Sue K. with 71.
The Division 1 pinshot winner was Allyson F. with 87cm and the Division 2 pinshot winner was Pam C. with 6cms.

The winner of the prestigious Founders Cup for 2026 was Allyson F. with 133 from Sue K with 141, Allsion R. with 142 on a countback from Donna and Jo took fifth place with 143.

On Sunday, 23 August 11 of our Ladies teed it up in the Calliope Ladies Open. The course had its challenges on the day with some tough pin positions and lightning fast greens.
The conditions did not suit quite a few visiting players, but there were some stars among our group on the day.

Sue Howkins - B Grade Gross Runner up
Jo Wright – C Grade Gross Winner
Kristen Lavia – C Grade Gross Runner up
Jane Solis – C Grade – most accurate drive

This was also the final round of the Curtis Zone Pennants for 2026.

After all 5 pennant rounds, Miriam Vale is the Curtis Zone winner with 62 points, from BITS on 52 points, Gladstone on 46 points, 1770 on 37 points and Calliope on 36 points.
My thanks go to all of our Ladies who have represented Miriam Vale at the Opens in our Zone. And hearty congratulations on qualifying for the Pennant Final at Wowan. The Miriam Vale Team will be chosen soon after the Eve Stone Shield.

Yesterday marked the first round of the annual Founders Cup kindly Sponsored By Mr Colin Bayliss, We thank Col for his generosity sponsoring this great Event 👍.

This was a stroke play, monthly medal and putter of the year, with James Bagnall Trophy day.
We had a great turnout of Men's members play and there where some exceptional score produced, great golfing Gent's.
