Round 8 marks the halfway point of the 2026 NDRL season, and what a season it has been so far! We've seen some outstanding performances, close contests, fierce rivalries, and plenty of memorable moments across both Women's League Tag and Men's Opens.

This Saturday, all roads lead to Childers Showground – "The Furnace" for a massive day of rugby league action.

With the competition ladders starting to take shape and finals edging closer each week, every game becomes more important from here on. Expect teams to leave it all on the field as they fight for valuable competition points and ladder positions.

📣 NDRL ROUND 6 UPDATE 📣

A few changes have been made to tomorrow’s fixtures, including a forfeit and some updated game times. Please make sure you check the updated draw before heading out.

📍 Valleys Rugby League Football Club – Clinton
📅 Saturday 23rd May

Unfortunately the Gin Gin Hawks vs Avondale Tigers Men’s Opens match has been declared a forfeit.

The updated schedule is now locked in and we’re looking forward to another big day of footy with Women’s League Tag and Men’s Opens action still ahead

So a few changes guys for tomorrow!!!

🚨 ROUND 5 UPDATE – GAME DAY CHANGES 🚨

Due to two forfeits this weekend, there have been some changes to Saturday’s draw at Gary Larson Oval, Miriam Vale.

Unfortunately the following matches will not go ahead:
❌ Women’s League Tag – South Kolan Sharks vs Gin Gin Hawks
❌ Men’s Opens – Agnes Water Marlins vs Isis Devils

Despite the changes, we’re still set for a great afternoon and evening of football, capped off with a massive clash under lights between Miriam Vale and Calliope playing for the Jed Farraway Memorial Shield 🏆

We’d still love to see the community come out and support the teams, volunteers, referees and clubs across the day. Let’s make it another great afternoon and evening of footy 🏉💙
