The NSW Academy of Gymnastics is a family run gymnastics centre providing 50 years of experience, knowledge and education to gymnasts ages 18months to adults. With a large number of programs available for all ages and one of the largest gymnastics facilities in the Sutherland Shire. This is what a recreational class looks like at NSW Academy of Gymnastics. ❤️

Bars, beam, tumbling, and everything in between, all happening at once, with qualified coaches on the floor for every single class.

We’ve been doing this since 1972 and call us biased, but we think it shows.

54 years of this club, and moments like this never get old. ❤️

From the gym to the pre-Nationals camp, this weekend was all about getting ready for the national stage. Our 2026 Nationals squad is prepped and ready to go. The best part? Nationals is in NSW this year, which means you might just get the chance to cheer them on in person. Stay tuned, we'll have more details soon.

Mock comp done. Competition season? Bring it on. 🤸‍♀️

For those who haven't seen one before, a mock comp is exactly what it sounds like: a full run-through of competition conditions, judging included, before the real thing. It's one of the best things we do for our athletes, because there's no substitute for feeling the floor under pressure.

Our Levels 5–7 girls rose to it last weekend. The routines, the focus, the nerves handled with a smile. We couldn't be prouder of how far they've come. ❤️

Competition season, you'd better be ready.

Meet Taya. ❤️

She’s been passionate about gymnastics since she was five years old, trained right here at The Academy, and has spent the last five years pouring that same love into every child she coaches. She’ll tell you her favourite thing is watching KindaGym kids grow in confidence and take their first steps into development classes. That never gets old.
