The AJSA is also very proud to say that we also took five referees to Perth. Samuel Miles, Phillip Moody, Seth Collins, Malcom van Burgel, Philip Lockyer and one that still represented Albany in James Knowlson. It was an outstanding effort from them all and was fantastic to see all our referees mingling with our players and supporting the teams and still be able to turn it on when they had to referee their friends. They were exceptional topped off by Malcom refereeing the 15’s ‘A’ grand final and winning the inaugural referee of the tournament. It just shows how good the culture is within the AJSA for our players, coaches, parents and referees to all get along so well
