SMW Rovers Football Netball Club A Group for all members, players, ex-players & supporters of the SMW Rovers Football Netball Club

SMW Rovers is a country Football club made up of three small towns Streatham, Mininera and Westmere. The Rovers Football Netball Club fields 3 football teams; Seniors, Reserves and Under 16’, and has a very strong Under 12 / Auskick program, along with 6 netball teams. Rovers pride themselves on being a very family orientated club with plenty of fathers/sons, mothers/daughters and brothers/sisters

playing in the red white and blue for a very long time. Our facilities are amongst the best in the league, whilst our playing surface is second to none, hosting 2 finals this year including the Grand Final. We have a tremendous team of volunteers and supporters who year after year make our club a pleasure to be involved with. We are strong financially and socially with many events throughout the season. Our training nights have usually been Monday or Tuesday night in Ballarat, Tuesday night at Mininera and all together at Mininera on Thursday nights. Tea is available on Thursday nights and is a place for the locals to come and socialise with the players

‼️TRAINING TONIGHT ‼️

Our Footballers and Senior Netballers will be training from approximately 6:15pm at the Smythesdale Recreation Reserve tonight. Please also note the all junior training has been cancelled.

Following training, we’ll be heading into Ballarat, to the Market Hotel from 7:30pm onwards for dinner.

Players, families, supporters, and members are all welcome to join us.
We look forward to seeing you there!
