I have a passion for teaching early education. I love watching kids grow and being a part of it and showing children new experiences. The younger years of a child are the most influential of a child’s life, I know each child is unique and I will attend to each child’s needs individually. I started studying for my Cert 3 in 2013 while I was pregnant with baby no.1. I then went on to do 2 days a wee
k casual at Ballarat North Early Learning. When we became pregnant with baby no.2, we decided I would stay home. I love watching children develop in all kinds of ways; each child has their own unique way. Children are capable, competent and involved learners. Each child is different in how they learn and how they communicate, planning for each child as an individual development I feel is important. Children will be encouraged to try new things, take risks and solve problems. I believe I have a loving caring home to base Family Day Care and to be able to give a child a loving, caring environment whilst being able to learn is an incredible privilege. I am up to date with the modern learning as well as knowing that the best way to learn is through play, weather that would be dirt, mud, water, roleplay, problem solving, arts and crafts or sports. I have a duty of making every child comfortable and I will do so and make every child’s rights and needs are met in the time they are in my care. I take pride in my work and I also value your child’s needs and individuality. Your child will be given the best chance to build themselves into the person they want to be. I respect each and every family’s individual care and learning experiences, confidentiality and privacy. When I decided to provide family day care through Kids Matter Family Day Care service, I made sure our home was a warm, safe, caring learning environment. Giving each child the right to learn in an environment they feel comfortable, not over whelmed. Making sure they get all the attention they need to grow into tomorrow’s future.
