A BIG Welcome to all our new and returning athletes for the 2026/2027 season.
Registrations are now open via this website www.revolutionise.com.au/ridgewoodathletics
If you are using a Kidsport voucher, please ensure you select Ridgewood Athletics and not Mindarie Mustangs LAC.

Our season will run from 3rd Oct 2026 to 13th March 2027.
Our 1st training session at Abbeville Park will be Wed 30th Sept starting at 5pm until approx 6.30pm in preparation for the opening day program on Sat 3rd Oct. We are starting 1 week earlier than last year (yes, it is the middle of school holidays and some of you may be away 😉)

All parents, please be aware that you will be on a roster every 2nd week...as a site helper or a chief role. Instruction, guidance and support will be given to make everyone comfortable with their roles.
When you are on a roster, please ensure you are wearing enclosed shoes = no thongs, sandals or bare feet are allowed.

REGISTRATIONS OPEN

TUESDAY 1st SEPTEMBER

Ridgewood Athletics Centre is a KIDSPORT approved club. Eligible children can receive up to $300 towards registration fees or club uniform.

VOUCHER redemption process

1. Apply for Kidsport voucher for Ridgewood Athletics Centre

2. Receive confirmation email from Kidsport with your unique code.

3. Email [email protected] with your unique code.

Your application can not proceed unless you advise Ridgewood Athletics Centre of your code.

4. Ridgewood submits your Kidsport code and awaits verification. This process can take up to 10 working days.

5. Once approved Ridgewood Athletics Centre will email athletes with their unique registration code for the registration portal.

The only information passed on is the athletes name, no other contact details.

🔴🔵 UPDATED RECORDER ROLE | JOIN THE RIDGEWOOD TEAM! 🔵🔴

Following a review of the Recorder position, Ridgewood Athletics Centre has updated the responsibilities of the role.

The position has been streamlined to focus on the key areas of:

📋 Competition-day paperwork and resources
🏅 Centre records and performance queries
📁 Competition records and athlete milestone achievements
🏆 End-of-season results, trophies and award reporting

Some of the previous responsibilities of the Recorder have been removed or redistributed, creating a more focused and manageable volunteer role.

You’ll be supported by the Ridgewood team as you settle into the role, with plenty of help along the way — you won’t be expected to do it all on your own.

🏃‍♂️ Exciting news for Mindarie Little Athletics! 🎉

We’re kicking off the upcoming season with some fantastic new equipment, thanks to a $5,000 Government grant and Mark Folkard MLA🙌

This investment means our athletes can train in an environment that better reflects real competition conditions — helping them build confidence, skills, and performance.

Our new gear includes:
✔️ Hurdles
✔️ High jump equipment
✔️ Measuring equipment
✔️ A new laptop & tablet to streamline admin for our members

A big win for our club and community — we can’t wait to see our athletes make the most of it this season!

2025/2026 AGM & Trophy Presentation🐎💚

Wow what an amazing 2025/2026 season it has been for the Mindarie Mustangs!

A huge thank you to everyone who came down on Saturday to celebrate with us at the AGM and Trophy Presentation. It was such a great morning recognising the hard work, determination and achievements of all our athletes this season. 👏

We’re so proud of every athlete who pulled on the Mustang colours this year. From PBs and first races to big improvements and team spirit it’s been incredible to watch everyone grow.

A big thank you also to our coaches, committee members, volunteers and families who make our club such a supportive and fun community. We couldn’t do it without you. 🙌

Congratulations to all of our award winners and well done to every Mustang who made this season one to remember.

We can’t wait to do it all again next season💚🐎

What an amazing achievement by one of our Mindarie Mustangs Little Athletics Club Duan Van Zyl 🥇👏🏽👏🏽

🔥 LIAM VAN ZYL WRITES HIS NAME INTO THE RECORD BOOKS! 🔥

What an incredible moment on the track!

🏃‍♂️ Liam van Zyl produced a sensational run in the U13 Boys 1500m at the WA Junior State Track & Field Championships, stopping the clock in a brilliant 4:36.77 to break a 28-year-old WA State Record! 🤯

To take down a record that has stood for nearly three decades is an outstanding achievement and a true reflection of Liam’s dedication, determination and hard work.

A phenomenal performance that now secures Liam’s name in the WA athletics record books.👏💙❤️
