🦁⭐ Players of the Week & U12s Night Game Success! ⭐🦁

Another fantastic weekend of football for our Milperra Lions, and we're excited to celebrate our Players of the Week! 🎉

A huge congratulations to all of this week's recipients. Your effort, determination, teamwork, and positive attitude on and off the field continue to make our club proud. It’s wonderful to see our players developing their skills, supporting their teammates, and enjoying every minute of their football journey. ⚽👏

A special mention goes to our Under 12s, who played their first-ever night game this week! 🌙⚽ The team was buzzing with excitement as they took to the field under lights and delivered an outstanding performance, securing a convincing 6-0 victory.

The season didn't start easily, with several players unavailable during the opening rounds. However, with a full squad now available and the incredible work and dedication of coach Maurice, the team has turned things around in spectacular fashion and is now on a three-game winning streak! 🔥

We couldn't be prouder of the effort, resilience, and team spirit shown by these young players. Keep working hard, supporting one another, and most importantly, enjoying your football.

⚽🦁 Under 10 Gala Day 2026 🦁⚽

What a fantastic day for our Milperra Lions Under 10s!

Despite a gloomy start with rain threatening to stick around all day, the boys didn't let the weather dampen their spirits. As the day went on, the skies began to clear, and by the final game the sun was shining, making for a perfect finish to a great day of football.

The team put in an outstanding effort throughout the day, playing with great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship to finish the gala day undefeated with three wins from three games. Most importantly, the boys had a fantastic day representing the club and enjoying their football.

A big thank you to Birrong Sports FC for hosting this year's Under 10 Gala Day and providing a great experience for all players involved.

🦁⚽ Under 12s Match Wrap-Up ⚽🦁

What a fantastic performance from our Under 12s this weekend at The Crest, taking on Revesby Rovers and coming away with an impressive 8-1 victory! 👏🔥

The team played some outstanding football, showing great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the match. Most importantly, it was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun on the field and enjoying every moment of the game.

A huge congratulations to all of our players and coaches on a terrific result. Keep up the hard work and positive attitude – we are incredibly proud of you all! 💙

What a fantastic weekend of football! We are incredibly grateful to BDAFA and the local council for their efforts in moving games around and making it possible for our players to get back on the grass and enjoy the sport they love. ⚽💙

⚽ Families and players are asked to please check Dribl for any scheduled games at our grounds this weekend.

Unfortunately, this also means that our Mini Cubs program will not be going ahead this weekend. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

What a fantastic day at the Under 8’s Gala Day! 🦁⚽️

We would like to extend a big thank you to Bankstown Sports Strikers for hosting such a well-organised and enjoyable event.

Our teams had an absolute blast out on the field, enjoying every moment of the games and the great atmosphere throughout the day. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork and smiles all around.
