Dear Members and Supporters,
The Millicent & District International Basketball Association (MDIBA) warmly invites you to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Date: Tuesday 16 June
Time: 6:00pm
Venue: Peter Seebohm Stadium
We welcome all members, parents, supporters, and anyone interested in contributing to the future of basketball in our community.
At this year's AGM, all executive positions will be declared vacant:
• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Secretary

Our association relies heavily on the dedication of volunteers and, quite simply, the stadium cannot operate without a committed committee.
We would like to sincerely thank our current and past committee members for their hard work, time, and ongoing support of MDIBA.

As our association continues to grow, we invite old and new committee members to bring fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and support to our organisation.

No previous committee experience is required, and we would love to welcome new faces to the committee.
The commitment is minimal, with meetings held every few months and assistance required at some of our major events throughout the year.

It is a rewarding opportunity to help shape the future of basketball in our community and support the many players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and families involved.
Whether you can take on a committee role or simply want to learn more about how the association operates, we encourage you to attend the AGM and be part of the conversation.

High-Performance Manager & Basketball Development Officer Visit

U12, U14 & U16 athletes who play for representative teams for Millicent Magic Basketball Association are invited to a player development session run by Scott Butler and Lachlan Warhurst from SA Country Basketball. The session will be from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday 23rd of June on court 2 & 3 at Millicent Basketball Stadium.
The session will focus on the below areas:
• Athletes Shooting Progressions
• Non-Preferred Hand work
• Decision-Making at the end of drives
• Guarding the basketball 1 on 1
All coaches from Millicent District International Basketball Association and Millicent Magic are invited to watch or assist with the on court delivery at this session.

REMINDER FOR COACHES & SPECTATORS

Without our umpires, our kids dont get to play. Our green whistle umpires are under 18, so please refrain from any communication with them.

If you have an issue, this is a matter for the senior umpire.

We will not tolerate any abuse towards our up & coming referees who are the future of our stadium.

U18 EADP TRIALS | REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

SA Country Basketball is pleased to announce registrations for the 2026/27 U18 Emerging Athlete Development Program (EADP) trials are now open!

The trials are open for all athletes born in 2010 and 2011, who live in country South Australia.

The Stadium is teaming up with RYMILL COONAWARRA for a fantastic Wine Drive Fundraiser! 🍷
Every bottle sold helps raise money to continue improving our basketball association with new uniforms, updated equipment and better resources for all players.

Each family will receive an order form on Friday night, we would love your support in helping us reach our fundraising goal. Whether you’re stocking up for winter, gifting, or sharing with friends and family… every order makes a difference!

All forms are due back by the GRAND FINAL on Friday 26th June.
