๐ GRAND FINAL DAY HOUSEKEEPING ๐
A few quick reminders to help everyone have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable Grand Final Day at The Kattery.
Weโre expecting a big crowd, so a little bit of teamwork off the field will go a long way. ๐๐ค
โฑ SHADES
No shades are permitted on the grandstand side of the oval.
Shades can be set up on the opposite side of the ground.
๐ช SEATING
Chairs and picnic rugs are welcome around the oval, but please set up behind the second white line.
Please do not set up in the Ambulance Station area beside the new playground. This access must remain completely clear so emergency vehicles can get through the gate if required.
๐ RUBBISH
Wheelie bins and skip bins will be positioned around the oval as shown on the map.
Please use them and help us keep The Kattery looking schmick throughout the day.
๐ค THE STAGE
The mobile stage will be set up next to Kats Korner.
Please keep clear of the stage, equipment and surrounding working area for your own safety.
๐ FOOD
Yes, the best canteen in the Pilbara will be open โ and yes, the chips and gravy will be flowing.
Weโll also have some great local food vendors helping keep everyone fed well into the night:

๐บ THE BAR
Alcohol purchased from the main club must remain within the licensed area, which includes the main clubhouse and grandstand area.
Please donโt take alcoholic drinks outside these boundaries.
๐ป TOILETS
Toilets will be available:
โข Upstairs in the main clubhouse
โข Downstairs near the car park
โข In the old change rooms building
โข Temporary toilets at each end of the oval, as shown on the map
๐ซ NO PARKING ZONE
Please do not park on the concrete entrance area directly in front of the clubhouse, between the accessibility ramp and the main stairs.
This area needs to remain clear.
๐ค RESPECT THE GAME | RESPECT EACH OTHER
This isnโt the AFL.
Itโs country footy.
The players, coaches, volunteers and match officials are people from our own community. They deserve to compete, officiate and support the game in a safe environment.
