Beginners Competition
LIMITED GROUP SIZE – Book early to secure your place

The Mill Park Tennis Club will once again be running this program, designed to introduce players and parents to competition tennis. This program is aimed at those players who are ready or almost ready to start playing competition. The next season of competition starts in Term 1 2023 with registration for this season open till Sunday 27th November 2022.

Players will be taught the following things that they need to know before commencing competition play with the club:

Basic tactics of doubles play
Tennis etiquette
Tennis rules
Scoring
Parents are encouraged to attend the information session on 12th November 2022 to find out all they need to know about club competition. They are also given the opportunity to learn more about the game of tennis, including how to score.

Where: Mill Park Tennis Club, Harry Jenkins Reserve, Mill Park Dr, Mill Park
When: Saturday 12th & 19th November 2022
Time: 1pm to 3.00pm
Cost: $20
This program is invaluable to those who are considering playing competition tennis with the club, making the transition from coaching lessons to playing tennis much smoother.

We are now accepting registrations for the NEJTA Autumn 2023 Competition.
Registrations Close Saturday 27th November 2022 5.00pm

MEMBERSHIP FEE
To be eligible to play junior NEJTA competition, you must become and or remain a financial member of Mill Park Tennis Club for the entire season.

SELECTION PROCESS
• The selection process is based on player’s statistics that each individual player gains from the last season of tennis at the time of the MPTC Junior match committee meeting
• New players registering; the committee may require these new players to play a grading match against a current Mill Park player, to ascertain what standard they are
• Once teams are graded by NEJTA, the decision is FINAL and can NOT be changed by Clubs
