Everyone has a place in athletics.

Today, more than 20 athletics organisations from across Australia have united to launch the Athletics in Australia National Participation Plan โ€” a shared roadmap to grow, connect and strengthen our sport for the future.

The vision is ambitious. By 2034, we aspire to see 5 million Australians participating in athletics each year, and a vibrant membership base of 200,000 athletes, coaches, and officials.

From Little Athletics to Masters, school carnivals to fun runs and run clubs, trail running to coaching, officiating and volunteering โ€” itโ€™s all a part of athletics.

Every age. Every stage. Every ability. Every background. Every purpose.
