Tough two weeks trouble shooting different faults, able to repair some to keep us going at times, despite temperatures nearing 46° on both weekends. Convict started to show some speed but then an electrical fault became the end of our run been unable to diagnose with the limited time we had to keep going.
Thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks again as usual for the BAD boat challenge. Awesome to see the yanks and the kiwis over for the racing. Thanks to both committees for hosting the events, also Thanks to Chris Palmer and the OutMcCosker ContractingiPenrite Oilt.

Awesome weekend to kick off round one USA & NZ vs Australia BAD Boat Challenge. Friday and Saturday were challenging for us as we were chasing fuel system gremlins, the team put in endless effort to get back on track for Sunday as Convict performed a whole lot better. Came 3rd in both our heats then put us in a repecharge with some tough competition which we came home in 3rd , but unfortunately our race time wasn’t quick enough for us to move into the semifinals, but to round out to finish our weekend on a good note. How good was it to see Laith Brown and 'Convict' come down from Gladstone for their debut in the Battery World National Drivers Championship, the Wanted Racing Team more than making their presence felt, delivering some impressive results to claim seventh for the round and third in the B-MAIN final 👊🏁🇦🇺

After a 13 hour round trip the team is home from supporting our club Gold Coast Power Boat & Sports Club event Lockyer Powerfest and participated in round 2 of the National Drivers Championship. The racing at Laidley has been so tight and competitive that HOT LAPS has all but become the decider on who would and wouldn't make the Battery World National Drivers Championship A-MAIN final, that said top qualifier Mark Gauci's setbacks during the two Heats will see him line up on inside pole in the B-MAIN final alongside Heat #1 winner Blake Ramsey, with Laith Brown and Dean Barry joining them in the second final 👊🏁🇦🇺
