Yesterday I had the amazing experience of Grading to my Black Belt. Man 10 years of training 6 days per week, starting our gym as a White Belt and building it to what we have now.
I’m forever grateful to Professor Tiago who has become one of my best friends not only my coach. Without his support, guidance and friendship none of this is possible.
My two boys, man they flogged me in my grading hahaha but honestly I’m extremely proud and grateful that they never give me an inch and never let me just have something.
My wife Jenelle who supported this crazy idea from day one, I said today I’d go back to White Belt in an instant if I could eliminate her cancer.
Our girls Ellie & Shy, thanks for being apart of this crazy family and what we do. Also our other kids who been apart of our lives over the last few years Channy, Harmony, Miri , Soph, Zell & Tyler.
I want to thank all of our coaches at the gym, you guys are amazing. Thank you to everyone who came today, especially those that traveled a long way like Mac & T, D-Mos, Blazey and family ❤️.
Lastly I want to thank those people who have had u huge impact on my Jiu Jitsu journey so far, my Professor Tiago, Big Viado Thiago Stefanutti, Cedric, Cooper & Bodey , Stephen , James Whittle, Apryl & Vince to name a few.
I started our gym to have an inclusive space for everyone to Train, no matter your skin colour or your social standing, to learn the beautiful art of Jiu Jitsu. This black belt is an honest bonus that I’m so grateful for. The new journey begins.

So proud to have a gym where our Women feel comfortable and empowered to train Jiu Jitsu. This isn’t a women’s class today, it was a regular Saturday morning No Gi Class where 15 strong Women were training. Proud Coach ❤️.
