Hi to everyone that shown intrest since ive open this site. At the end of Janurary 22 I deceided to return back to North West Tasmania with the race car in tow.
The reason to travel to Tas was many, but in the case of the Drag Car it would provide a peaceful inviroment to make alterations to the Warriors engine and transmission. All the work is and has been done by yours trully (myself)
I have a workshop with a hoist in Tas which will make the alterations much easier to complete. What I didnt calcalate was the time Total Engine Airflow took to complete my Trick Flow Cylinder heads and ship to Tas. The same length of delay has been with the New Torque Converter from SDE Converters
Both items were put on the order waiting list back in November 21.
Converters has arrived last week and the heads are shipped but not arrived as yet.
Ive missed many Drag meetings but their will be more to come. pppppppPerhaps

It's time to update what (my big girl) the Manline Warrior will be up to in the first quarter of 2022.
Before I get into the nitty gritty I would like to
once again thank all the people that have entered in to the Full Metal Jacket site and shown a positive interest it's most encouraging.
Okay so what's happening, the performance at the track needs to improve. Back in early December I took the opportunity to complete a test and tune day at Heathcote Park in Victoria. There were 2 main areas that needed answers.
1. Is the engine good enough to compete in the top 10 in SS/A. result No.
2. Is the driver ( that's me ) getting the best out of the car. result No
The Fix.
On 1. On paper the car shows it is lacking 50hp.
Stay tuned as I'm about to start the fix 1st February.
On 2. Its time to hand over the drivers seat to a fellow Tasmanian Scott Cohen.
With a fresh driver and an Old School spanner pusher ( that's me ) lol and lets not forget Tony De Little that has tirelessly supported my return to Drag Racing, providing the entire auto electrical work on the car, attended every meeting that I had attended with weekly home visits to support my progress.

Your next up date installment is only weeks away so check in from time to time .
Warrior out.

There as been lots of interest of recent on my site so that deserves a further update.
Their has been more work done in my home office then the workshop of late.
I decided toward the end of 2021 Drag season to be a little more competitive there would need to be an increase in hp. The limiting factor has been the ability of the Super Cobra Jet heads to flow enough air .
It's time to upgrade and didn't take long to find out no one in Australia do BBF heads or were intrested.
So there has many late nights and early morning calls to chosen cylinder head high Performance shops.
I will provide a update on results soon

Once again I have to tell all people that has shown interest in the warrior beast the meeting in Mildura has been cancelled this time due to expected rain and cold temps

This means we are now in the off season until early Feb but that will not stop me looking for better et and mph.
The ability to track down to Heathcote on a Sunday and carry out some tests and tuning will keep me sharp and be able to be on the mix in Super Sedan.
Let's look forward to better year and take this opportunity to all that had like my efforts to date. Jeffrey Mockett last of the warriors.
