🚧 THE POUR IS UNDERWAY—and it’s looking fantastic! 🚧

Earlier this year, the Mildura Speedway Drivers Club was successful in receiving a Recreation Assistance Grant from Mildura Rural City Council. This funding is helping us significantly improve accessibility for spectators at B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway.

✅ Stage One: A new concrete footpath from the ticket box to the toilet block
✅ Stage Two: A new accessible entrance from the ticket box into the facility

These upgrades will provide much safer and easier access to our facility and toilet amenities, particularly for spectators with disabilities.

This project is an absolute game changer for our club and would not have been possible without the support of the Mildura Rural City Council Recreation Assistance Grant Program.

A huge thank-you to Mildura Rural City Council for helping us make our facility more accessible and welcoming for everyone! 🏁

Another HUGE Thank-you to Riley & Keenan from Kulkyne Kustoms @ 773 Koorlong Avenue, Irymple who came out today and made up some NEW Bracing for our Track Gates.. Not the first thing they have done for us. Last Season they made the NEW Boom and Independent Support for the Boom on our main Water Truck. And also made the Cover for the Coolroom Motor on the NEW Turn 5 Bar. And a BIG Thank-you to Trevor & Team @ Mildura Powder Coating in Irymple for Powder Coated the Cover for us also. Like to say a HUGE Thank-you to Robbie & Shona Faux 👏🏻 for putting in the Sprinkler System up at the NEW Area we have put in near the Clubrooms for this up and coming season. 🐝 WORKING BEE TOMORROW 🐝

A reminder to everybody we have a working bee tomorrow and we would love as many people as possible to help us out.

With the start of our race season just around the corner we are doing the final push to put the finishing touches on all of our projects.

Plenty to do; painting, general tidy up of the complex, fence repairs, moving some things around.. and if none of that sounds like you, the free bbq lunch also needs to be cooked!

If you could also bring tools like drills, tech guns, shovels, rakes, whipper snippers etc that would be super handy too!

See you all from 9am onwards tomorrow. If you can’t make it for the whole day, that’s okay, even an hour of help is appreciated.

Life gets busy. We get caught up in work, family, bills and everything else going on, and sometimes we don’t notice when someone around us is struggling.

Checking in doesn’t have to be a big, serious conversation.

Sometimes it’s a simple message saying “how are you doing?” Sometimes it’s a b**r in the shed. Sometimes it’s just sitting beside someone and letting them know they’re not alone. Sometimes it’s the conversations in somebodies trailer at the end of racing.

A few minutes of your time could mean more than you’ll ever realise — and sometimes, it could even save a life.

📣 MILDURA DRIVERS SELECTED FOR ADELAIDE GRAND FINAL 📣

We are stoked to announce that five of our club members have been selected to compete at the prestigious NAPA Speedway at the Adelaide Grand Final!

• Ryan Burns

Earlier this year, drivers from across Australia were invited to submit applications expressing their interest in competing at the event. With hundreds of applications received, the South Australian Motorsport Board & event organisers hand selected just 24 of the country’s top Modified Sedan and Junior Sedan drivers to take part.

With teams and drivers coming from all over Australia, having five drivers from Mildura selected is an incredible achievement and a huge honour for not only the drivers themselves, but our local speedway community.

Please join us in congratulating Jarod, Angelo, Wade, Chloe and Ryan on this awesome achievement and wishing them the very best when they hit the track in Adelaide!

We’re incredibly proud to see the calibre of drivers coming out of the Sunraysia region and representing Mildura on such a big stage.
