🚧 New Project at Timmis Speedway! 🚧

Every Speedway Australia track inspection highlights the same issue behind our catering vans, with the area being deemed unsafe due to the drop-off to the fence and the potential for someone to be seriously injured.

We’re excited to announce that, with the help of our very generous Naming Rights Sponsor, B&S Earthworks, we’re finally able to tackle this project. A huge thank you to B&S Earthworks for taking care of the earthworks required to make this area safer for everyone.

We also need to extend a massive thank you to John, Todd and Rick Kelly and their families for their generous donation of the new fencing through one of their locally owned businesses, STEELINE Mildura. The Kelly family is well known throughout Australian motorsport, and it is a pleasure to have them jump on board and support our club.

Another valued local business, Inland Crane Hire, has been helping our club whenever needed for more than 20 years. Once again, we’ve called on Terry and his crew to assist by lifting out the containers so work can commence.

A huge thank you also goes to FWG Group / FWG Concreting and the generous Forbes-Wilson family for supplying more of their amazing concrete blocks, which will be used to construct a retaining wall and bring the area up to the current ground level.

To all these local businesses and families, thank you for your generosity and continued support. Your contributions help make Timmis Speedway the fantastic facility it is today.

As part of our ongoing improvements, we’re looking for some extra manpower and building knowledge to help erect a new ticket box using coolroom panels.

As another exciting season comes to a close, we'd love for you to join us as we celebrate the achievements, memories and milestones of the 2025/26 season at the B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway Presentation Night.

This special evening is an opportunity to recognise our competitors, volunteers, officials, sponsors and supporters who have helped make this season one to remember.

So, two more of our Awesome Supporters this year were Mallee Meats & JAM Concreting.. They donated Meat Trays for our meeting’s this year to Raffle Off and they went over really well.. Definitely some lucky spectators out there that won them.. So, please support those that support us, as we could not do it without them.. B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway Mildura will be the host venue for Round Four of the 2027 PWR Advanced Cooling Technology TFH Hire Services Australia Sprintcar Power Tour.

"Milvegas" was the scene of some epic Power Tour competition earlier this year and the great news is that fourth round will 'Power Up' on FRIDAY NIGHT, JANUARY 15, 2027 for the second year of the competition.

The Sprintcar Power Tour is proud to head back to the epic Mildura bullring for the second year.

Mildura.com and The Gateway Mildura provided wonderful support in 2026 with the Power Tour's appearance on the Wednesday night and it's anticipated that this time on the Friday night it will make the event even more appealing to fans and traveling teams.

"Last season we only had the Wednesday available as a date for Mildura," says series organiser Wade Aunger, "but in 2027 we've made some tweaks to the schedule (including the addition of two new venues) and we can offer Mildura a Friday night for the first time. We're grateful for the support of the committee and sponsors of B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway for coming on board for our second season. We think this makes it even more accessible for traveling teams and for traveling fans to come along on the Friday more so than the Wednesday last time."

Mildura is considered the capital of Australian motorsport in many respects with an incredibly diverse and broad range of international, national and state champions across a wide variety of motor racing disciplines.

In the last few years in particular "Milvegas" has upped the ante on it's Sprintcar culture and the establishment of "the Waters Whisky Sprintcar Scorcher" and "The PWR TFH Sprintcar Power Tour" has certainly increased the venue's appeal.

The inclusion of B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway Mildura into the 2027 Sprintcar Power Tour is a bonus for Sunraysia motorsport fans and the series itself with some white knuckle racing on a warm summer Friday night guaranteed.

More information on advance ticket sales for Round Four of the PWR TFH Sprintcar Power Tour and the locations and dates of Rounds 1, 5 and 6 will follow soon....

How good does this look 👀 Chris Waters and his Little Jeep and Tipper Trailer have been busy putting in a mighty 💪 effort over the last week filling the area with Loam. How good is it to have level ground from The Sign-in Pitbox to the Clubrooms. Merch Alley has plenty of room now 🙌🏻 The Retired Club Members have definitely been busy..
