We met up with Scott from Geelong All-Abilities Sports Club when we last raced at Geelong Thunder BMX and got talking about sidehacks.
Fantastic to see their dream come true.

HOLLY & RUBY - THE BEST SIDEHACK IN THE WEST.
The series culminated in Geelong today with three Colmac Hacks on the start gate.
The pink hack suffered a mechanical issue during the first Moto resulting in a DNF for the pink hack. Macca and Jamie scurried to get the bike back to race the second moto.
Zephyr and Dave Bennett were solid all day; keeping racing tight to claim a couple of 2nd positions.
Rustyn And Victor dominated the day claiming victories of all four motos.
But it wasn’t enough - the girls fairly won the series to earn the Championship Jersey.
Thank you to all volunteers and officials who keep making this series so awesome - we look forward to returning in 2026.

IT’S CLOSE: Colmac Hacks have made the journey down to Bacchus Marsh BMX Club for the last weekend of the Western Region BMX Best of the West series.
The girls are just ahead in points, but the boys are keen to make up for lost time.
It will come down to the last race at Geelong Thunder BMX tomorrow to decide the series winner - Bring it On!

Best of the West Round 2:
It was a cold day at Ballarat, but the Sidehack action was hot.
The field was one short due to yesterday's drama, but we were joined by Jake and Antanas Ellis on the Green Machine.
Dave and Zephyr got up for a moto win leaving Holly and Ruby to banging bars with Team Ellis.
The winning streak continues for the girls allowing them to take home the Series Leader Plate for the week.
Rusytn and Victor have some catching up to do next weekend at Sunbury.

Girl Power!
Bendigo didn't go the way that anyone expected.
After Rustyn withdrawing from the first event due to illness, his dad Paul jumped on the hack to make sure the 1V hack qualified for the series.
Victor swinged the hack perfectly to ensure a win in the first moto.
Unfortunately Macca slipped a pedal in the second moto, which resulted in a trip to hospital which will see him on crutches for a couple of weeks.
Holly dominated the remainder of the day with her new sw***er Ruby Nemtsas keeping in front of the Bennetts.
TooToo has has new number - The leader gets to carry a #1 Plate.
The series continues at Ballarat today - will Holly and Ruby get to take the red plate back to Mildura for the week?

It's sidehack season! Get those sidehacks out and race some of the best tracks there are in Victoria.
For the third year Colmac have committed to supporting each round, and will be travelling down from Mildura each weekend of the series.
Nominations for the series close Monday night.

June Long Weekend:
Colmac Hacks made the trip down south for the weekend to participate in the Coast to Crater Clash.
It was a two day event held at Mt Gambier's Blue Lake BMX and Warrnambool BMX Club.
Holly's ride was sured up on the 22 side as the even was in 's backyard, however due to other sporting commitments, Rustyn needed to find a ring in sw***er.
Warrnambool BMX superstar Leo Pearson stepped up to fill in and quickly learned the ropes.
Rustyn and Leo dominated well in the two horse race at Mt Gambier until a surprise turn of events in the 4th moto when Hollly and Meeka claimed the win.
Rumour has it that a wardrobe malfunction (pedal clips), handicapped Rustyn and Leo.
I like to believe that Holly and Meeka found their pace.
Sunday was a return to Warrnambool where it all started for Colmac.
Back in 2022, Rustyn and Victor made there Sidehack debut.
This time the hack they road three years ago was represented by the Preston girls.
Back to Mildura for 'Flats, Flannies & Sidehack' a quarterly held retro round at Mildura BMX.
16 South Australian riders nominated making it one of the biggest club event in many years.
Just for something different, Holly and Ruby rode the white hack allowing James and Alfie Faulkner from the The Cove to ride the 22 pink machine.
Jasmine and Alycia also from TC borrowed the Trenordan hack to give them a run for their money.
Western Region BMX's Best of the West series is booked in and the usual factory riders will be competing.
Can McCarthy Collins make it 3 from 3? Will the new aluminium hack be built in time?

Colmac Threepeat:
The Colmac team made the trip down to Park Orchards BMX Club on the weekend to compete in the Victorian Retro and Sidehack Championship.
It's the event that kicked off our interest in Sidehacks when we attended the first one at Warrnambool BMX Club in 2022.
It's impressive to see the revival of Sidehack racing in Victoria - It certainly isn't a novelty race featuring ten bikes to be one of the biggest fields on the day.
Colmac hacks dominated the field with all six of Paul and Jamie's creations pedalling fast.
Rustyn and Victor quickly worked out the track won all heats and the final.
Nathan Glab and Damon Hocking finished second on another Mildura hack loaned with thanks to Jono Trenorden.
Paul and Jade Morris came third on the last minute loaned dark horse.
Lautier and Lincoln Feist rounded out the final race on another Colmac hack.
Sidehack hack racing is strong again!
