Evening All,

As you are aware, Sunraysia has a great opportunity to showcase our area and bowling clubs with the above event.
It is disappointing when you consider there are 643 registered bowlers in Sunraysia and 70% would be 55 and older, which the event is catering for.

Entries are being received, however ladies’ events are very slow to say the least and if the numbers do not pick up by closing date 30 Jun, the ladies only events may not happen.
Worst case, you will play 3 games and the best case you may play 5 games and top 3 go into the finals.
We need all bowlers in Sunraysia to get behind this event, if it does not happen this time, we will not get the opportunity again.

It's not all about winning, but how many of us can tell our grandchildren, that we played in a world bowls event?
So, bowlers please get your teams entered by the due date."

World Bowls is coming to Mildura in September 2026. $30,000 prize money - subject to minimum number of entries.
Are you over 55, the Sunraysia Classic 2026 is open to all affiliated bowlers and will include the following disciplines - pairs (male, female and mixed), fours (male and female). One-hour format - sectional play (more matches). Finals to be live-streamed. $60. per person per entry Entries close 30th June 2026. Hurry register now so you will not disappointed.

Our club is built on Volunteers from our Board, sub committees, catering, kitchen, bar management, match, selection, greens, representatives on outside committees, carpooling, the unseen volunteers who clean windows, repair chairs, numbers etc. We thank you for making our club a better place. 😍

 Toolibuck AGM today well represented by Sunraysia playing area, Brian Horton & Di Smith on the Sunraysia Playing Area Competition Committee as our Delegates Pennant will be starting early this year and be finishing before Christmas. Watch this space.
